Since I am moving and have no television service at the new house yet, I want to make sure I order one that either is already compatible or will be. I know I can switch, but the motivation will be lacking once it is already setup the wrong way

I didn't say it wouldn't work, but I will reiterate that it would sound better putting all of your budget into just two speakers instead of stretching it thin.

The center channel is, in a big room but in all reality I don't think your budget is high enough to add one. Think of it this way since you have $600 for diy stuff. Go to your local home audio store and listen to a set of $1000 speakers which for $600 you should easily be able to build. Then compare them with a pair that is only $600 (if you need to build 3 they will be more along the lines of this quality). What would you rather live with? I think it will be a no brainer.

Should have said 21, and not quite every term. When I wrote my senior comps I only took 12 other credits, but when writing a 70page paper for Physics it is sort of a beyotch.

Not at all, in particular since your front "stage" consists of 2 sets of rev's. Before doing anything for a music setup I'd upgrade that significantly.

Interesting, what exactly are your goals?? Curious as to how you can be on the fence with a fartbox driver and one that isn't.

I work for one a shop that carry focals and we got the news from our distributor contact.... I don't know when the planned release is but IIRC think he said the new production run of the changed tweeter is shipping around JAN of 08.. I don't know if i'm supposed to release this info YET.... If they let you know, they did it on purpose so you'd share.

Personally I don't like subthump boxes at all, nor would that be enough space. I like the recommendations of building your own.
