Wired my antenna last night. House has an outdoor antenna...inside. It is in my rafters lol.

Poor Nitro What video editing software are you using? ... I need one

Tomorrow all my cable cutting stuff lands. Going to compare Roku and Amazon although I am pretty sure I will settle on the Roku as it can control the Squeezebox as well. Might make me rethink my whole home automation as my software also controls the Roku...

The car has 1000's of resonant frequencies, not just one; every little part in the car actually has its own. He locally changed the ones on the wheel well for sure, but it is unlikely that made a big difference on the overall cars modes. What he could have done though is changed the transfer path for the energy which can have a pronounced effect on acoustic response. No one in the automotive sector ever wants to run a transfer path analysis as it is brutal so these are rarely optimized all that effectively. Definitely used for oh shit engineering, but normally it is one of the first areas of NVH that are sidestepped as much as possible.

Use at least 100 averages on the fft block or watch it until it stops changing. Drone will have a lot of spurious signals you want to average out to lock in the real source.
-
Two of multiple possible answers. The first being that you are incorrectly perceiving more, the second being that you changed the response of the system in an area where the drone isn't coming from having an amplifying effect on the areas that are. As a general FYI, wheel arches aren't likely suspects for exhaust drone as they have to be adequately insulated as a barrier for road noise which occurs at similar frequencies.

*hopes wireless charging works with the OTG

No, but my display supports dual and is connected. My "office" pc is a zenbook with a dual displaylink monitor setup. Of course, monitor 1 is the one I have in portrait instead of landscape so testing it was sideways lol. Only spent 30sec so far, but will use it this week a bit to see.
-
Yep. Need to download the DisplayLink Presenter app, but once installed you just plug it in and it works. Only with 1 monitor applications though. Having both plugged in confused mine, but powering down 2 fixed that. Mouse and everything worked... *more testing later. Thinking this will be the ideal computer for the kids...and it may change my car install completely.
-
Unless you can find exact drop ins it will be a complete waste of money.
-
Interesting. Displaylink dock works with my cell phone. Had that been like that 2 years ago I wouldn't have put a windows machine in my truck.

FOund a site for you: http://www.hostelworld.com/search?search_keywords=Paris%2C+France&country=France&city=Paris&date_from=2016-12-29&date_to=2017-01-03&number_of_guests=2 You can search in neighborhoods. Choose: Latin Quarter, Louvre - Les Halles, Marais, & Eiffel Tower The stretch would be Les Invalides & Bastille. Look for ones closer to the Siene and let me know your choices. I'd try and book sooner than later as lots of Paris will want to head downtown for NYE.

I am horribly opposed to that idea. The BEST money you can spend is on location.
-
Not today, but once I know your layout of days/times/locations I will give you an overview of the sights. I've been either remote and on my phone and don't want to type a book on it, or like today it is Thanksgiving and I am cooking breakfast between posts ;P
-
What days of the week will you be there?
-
$200 per couple per day can be done for food really nicely. Means an el cheapo breakfast and lunch and a great dinner. That hostel is up by Gare d'nord which has no museums, no great restaurants, and no real sights. I personally would try to find one in the 7th arrondisement, or the 1st or 4th. Focusing on getting as close to the Seine as possible in the latter too. The 7th you can be a bit off and still be in great neighborhoods.

Sure the dual has live pass through audio capability? If it doesn't it won't work with that adapter. -
Ha, not even close

Curious what the meal price you can spend is too. I am nuts about food...but will spend whatever for the right meal.
