Which amp is right for my NVX Components
///M5 replied to Havasufreak's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
While your conclusion is right your facts are confused. Headroom is your friend. Just so you are clear Havasufreak. Either amp will work just as hard and you have no way of changing the load to "run it at a higher ohm load". That being said, I agree that more power is always good...okay not always, but the sentiment is spot on. -
3-Way Active Which Midwoofers & Tweeters For My Application?
///M5 replied to TX98Z28's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Lol, we can tell...but guess who else is? If you can hear it you can upgrade. I have had a pair of both. Awesome drivers. The Nextel is beautiful, but in a car with such a ridiculous noise floor and so many compromises I no longer will spend that sort of dough on drivers. IMO the money is better spent elsewhere. Before those options I had Excel's in my car... Don't always assume the tester knows what they are doing. When Erin first got the Klippel from diyma loaned to him he had absolutely zero idea about audio. Was one of the most confused people I have ever met in that regard. While that has drastically changed his conclusions I wouldn't consider something you should draw ultimate credibility in. What he did do well is find a good support structure to help him through things. Also beware that recommendations on the net are usually watered down. ie, if Erin told you go ahead crossover at 2kHz and 12dB and you blew the tweeter you'd rip into him in the forum. He is aware of that. If you use your ears and other senses you can do an awful lot "below" recommended. The Fs of that tweeter is 700Hz. While I do not have that driver (I currently run Scan D2904 /60001) I know it will easily mate with any of the woofers you chose. Currently mine are paid with G18's, but they've mated with about 10 different 7's all just fine. Lastly on the same note, these are going into your car which is about as far from a test panel as you can get. The question that is always hard for me is will I regret not spending more and not knowing. In car audio, I've gotten beyond that but I have a closet full of nearly ever 7" driver worth a shit ever put on the market minus a few I've given away to others to use. -
You probably should start with re-reading what the OP asked. It was solely about the NVX. I answered and gave him a hint on where to buy it. If you think that is off topic, I'd like to hear how you think what you said was. ROFL.
-
No because they weren't off topic. STOP trying to create arguments in other posts. This is your garbage land where you can bring up nonsense. Not in threads.
-
Can you ever post anything that isn't shit?
-
Where are they going? Can a 6.5" set fit? *BJ's off topic comments were moved to his off topic thread

I don't want an answer, but the right answer. Settle for what you want, but your logic fits with the rest of your troll first think later personality. I've had no bad experiences with Sonic, but good luck getting into any sort of good discussion about something that will actual solve your needs on their "forum" or calling them. Btw, it is really sad that your reason for liking them is stating you knowingly burnt up an amp using it inappropriately and ripped off a company to replace it for you.

Just bought the fam tickets to New Mexico for spring break.

Serious congrats. Not just in the act, but the attitude.

Lens correction section of the editing. Check: Profile correction and for pictures of things, Chromatic Aberration SAVE it as a profile that you use when you import (AND rename) and always do the profile. Profile corrects the "out of round/square" errors in your lens. ie, if you should a chessboard perfectly square it won't be perfect. Profile corrects for that. When shooting architecture you also want to overshoot as well so that you can do a Perspective correction which will take the slants out of buildings and such. Chromatic aberration shows up on edges of dark things with light spilling over them. ie, the edges of all buildings in nearly any light other than moonlight and some golden hour sunrise. It will show up as errors of color fringing on the borders of the these sections of the photos. It is common enough that it was one of the first features added to ligthroom. Some lenses and situations are worse. Your lens is mild for both the above...but you can do it on import and should. Take a picture of something outside that can be lackluster and email me the raw. Preferably with a cloud or SOMETHING in the sky. Under expose it a stop.

I've got a few of their amps and nothing bad to say. Customer service at SSA > all.
-
BJ, you again showed you cannot comprehend what you read. Perhaps you should use actual quotes instead of trying to summarize since you suck at it. Your synopsis isn't even close to the original content. Try again and then we can discuss.

Boudreau is worth the extra $2M/yr. Unbelievable.
-
This is super funny. It is the opposite. I get paid by JL, Harmon and the big companies because the little ones can't afford me. None of it is for marketing though, but engineering. I just state facts, not emotion unlike confused consumers.
-
I classically would add lens profile correction and for building chromatic aberration, but nothing else is 'required'
-
I could say that another way. If you haven't adjusted the shadows, highlighs, whites and blacks you should NEVER export the photo to anything EVER.
-
Do NOT export everything. Use LR for nearly all you do. Exporting is a waste unless you are "publishing". Publishing everything is not what you want to do. Just publish your good shit.
-
$100...buy it. Only 1 pc per catalog and the mobile app SUCKS. Just buy it and catalog where you want to, export for Drive/Cloud etc and call it a day. It is really worth the money. Have to hit Matt up for people shots and me for buildings and such. AMAZING what it can do....just make sure you under expose a stop or so.
-
Ha, her photos. Lol. You want to see some out of focus nonsense? She can't remember to switch it to "Auto" to take pics, but tries...and fails. Of course even small they are fine, but it drives me NUTS!

No, being literate I had to question your meaning in nearly every phrase since it is so convoluted. I was laughing so hard I stopped reading.
