Nikon let's you do the same...but it doesn't autocrop so you have to remove the vignetting
-
Which ones?
-
Impossible for all frequencies of course but minimizing the mess is always a goal. Reading more will help less than listening more.
-
Depends on what your system is playing. Area under the curve is the sound. Ie, on music that change should be noticeable.
-
Yes. But you know me, way too cheap to spend $200k on a car in particular when you can build a better one cheaper. Then I would have different wheels and no wing.
-
Blanket for your tv
-
If that wasn't clear ask away. Want to make sure I hint enough so you learn it all, but am clear enough to help.
-
The abstract answer is that there is no "normal" phase. ie, whatever combination sounds best amongst all the possible combinations is the one to use. Your crossover settings however are not phase coherent so the adjustments and listening has to be done more than once. ...which of course is exactly why crossovers are part of the install

Needs the wing off and new wheels....but I WANT

Amazing how far phones have come...but they are still useless without the right hands. Nice shots!

I came close to one of those, but their Canon adapters don't quite focus fast enough...and FF frame small body feels strange to me since the glass is so big. Add to that the Sigma Art series don't match a FF real well...which is annoying since the IS is in the camera and would allow those to be KILLER lenses.
-
They will show up in front of the first post of the thread if I do...easy enough though. You don't want the Rokinon
-
I don't see a whole ton of value in the 24-70 2.8. Reason being is that at 70mm 2.8 isn't really fast enough. On the bottom end of a 70-200mm that compromise makes sense but on the top end of a 24 it doesn't. At 24mm you will regularly shoot f5.6 or higher so fast glass isn't the goal there. A 25'ish mm pancake lens is cheap, super light and shoots wide on full frame. Add to that a 50mm 1.2/1.4 and a 70-200mm 2.8 and you should have all you need for most situations.
-
The caveat to both my last two statements is that I have a good landscape/wide lens and a faster zoom so I wouldn't ever put either of those on my camera. Even the fast zoom change doesn't buy me anything as I'd end up deleting nearly 90% of the pictures I take instead of 10%. A real lens makes a HUGE difference.
-
At 80mm you NEED fast. 80mm and deep focus is pointless. I see no value in that lens either.
-
It works at 18mm f11 for everything else it is pretty useless. No bokeh, way too deep DOF, and just isn't very sharp. If walk around means shooting buildings and such fine, but then just use something wider that is less of an optical mess.
-
Sony has the same needs as others for what works. 50mm 1.4 for interior, low light and generally most of your pictures 70-200 2.8 for long range and low light shots where you need speed 16-50 2.8 for "walk around". Jack of all trades and master of none. Wide enough to stop out to f11 and shoot landscapes and narrow enough to almost do portraits at 50mm 2.8, but not ideal for either. Due to this I personally use an 11-16 2.8 Tokina for landscape and the 50mm for everything else. When being artistic I sometimes carry the 17-55...but I hate it. Much prefer primes.

Working on adding the 4th and 5th garage stall, then perhaps I'd love to own a muscle car again...but that doesn't exclude imported muscle. Sure am glad the Evo II's aren't affordable otherwise I'd have a problem.

True, I always install my speakers in a hole. And you bastard Sean, you have me searching for old German metal again!
-
It was designing being discussed not building. Sad thing is if you would just bother to learn to design an enclosure and speaker once you would change about 90% of what you type. Some very simple concepts elude you or you just make it seem so since you don't like me. Comprehend the louderspeaker design cookbook just a wee bit and you will have a really empty feeling in your gut.
-
Turn the speaker and you have to change the crossover. They are both the job of the installer to maximize. ...it is whole btw
-
You suck at the internet too I see.
-
Ignorance is bliss. You should be a happy guy.
-
Rofl. I'd like to see him do an install without crossovers. Funny coming from the guy who has monstrous difficulties with box design 101.

4 yr old phone would kill me. After 1 year I am sick.
