I know....but I would polish and then see if I need to sand first. I like to start less aggressive if possible. Lots of stuff I thought I would have to sand I didn't once polished.
-
I would always polish first before sanding. Once you use an abrasive going back is tough.

Electrical noise out of no where

Any solid piece of metal is fine. The stock grounds are notoriously crappy on EVERY car. Not saying this is your problem, but no way I'd run with the stock ground ever. -

Are you using the stock h/u ground? If so, I'd change that while inspecting all the rest of the connections. -
I thought I did a good job. Now I know I suck

Boring us? Fuck no. This is hardcore porn.

I love bass boat flake lol

You have to match the full set. Need to know ALL the mounting options, etc...

Rumors are turbo. While voodoo was designed for the gt350 economies of scale say the should use it elsewhere. I think a boosted version of it only makes sense with tubros to match the rev range of the motor. I am also dubious it will happen but the rumors around the internet led me to think it has more merit than I thought before. Plus if they really want to compete in the hp war doing it in a unique way makes sense. That and designed for the gt350 doesn't exclude gt500.

All car audio sets are full or ridiculous compromises...it is easy to surpass them. Add to that the uber so cheapo crossovers that aren't designed in situ and they are nearly pointless
-
Sure but they will vary like hell depending on locations, processing, and mounting possibilities for other drivers. The beauty of active is that you can optimize for your install which is far from possible with off the shelf passives. Hell off the shelf and car install are ridiculous in general...
-
Umm, except in stock form from Ford. GT500 on the way

Twin Turbo Voodoo! PLEASE!!!!!

Off to NM with the fam tomorrow at the CRACK of dawn

I will mostly play this unplugged anyways. Couch guitar was the goal although I still will use the hard body for when I am couching exercises.
-
Yep. Taylor Expression System 2 which is piezo based. Really impressive how well it works.
-
Next purchase is a bass amp, lol. I'll probably use that once a month max. Play the bass through the looper and guitar amp in parallel at the moment which works pretty well for making jam tracks.
-
Haven't mic'd it yet, but the PA would be a guitar amp anyways so ran it direct. Amazing pickup for an acoustic. Not something you can run into overdrive too far nicely, but clean it is really impressive. Could easily perform with what I have.
-
And I get to today. Couldn't while the kids were sleeping
-
Dying to see how the pickup deals with that...on a big fat tube amp.
