It is coming supposedly

Improving the current "enclosure" will help as well. There is not anywhere near enough air behind those while also being too easy for letting the back wave come into the cabin. Problem with those doors as too much more weight and the wimpy hinges won't let them close. The only easily vented place in that car is the dash itself...but not sure you want to cut that up. I bought my car in pieces, body, pan, engine, trans, and pretty much everything else was new. I hand welded on heater channels I had bent at a metal shop...wasn't anything original so cutting whatever was fine.
-
I had assumed you built something onto the doors. No way I could have fit anything up front like that on my '59...but I wear size 16 shoes, lol, so just pushing the pedals took some extra dexterity.
-
WTF! I had no idea this existed.
-
Yes. 2 4ohm drivers in parallel equate to a 2ohm overall load. Will split the power at 2ohms then. As for where/how and such they are going to be...a picture is worth a thousand words and may help us give you further insight.
-
If it is more than $6k it is too much...and it will be.

GM cost on all parts to convert a standard motor to a LSA is $2500. I have the parts list somewhere...that being said in a little car a turbo LS makes way more sense. I'd also step down the cubes then to a smaller engine so you can use a smaller single turbo. Super easy to make 700-800hp from the 4.8 with a single lag free turbo. Stock form even with 100k mi on the block it'll take the power as well. A 4.8 with 100k is $300 complete from most scrap yards. Add a few G for a turbo and scream. Worth adding head bolts, but the rest isn't necessary. At that level you are already pushing water on the aluminum blocks. Not worth saving the teeny amount of weight for less reliability and way more cost.
-
I am tapped out with mine. If someone would do the work I would gladly swap for an iron one.
-
The LSA is a joke. Iron block ftw. Aluminum ones can't make power
-
Junkyard 4.8 and a turbo will cost you $2k + swap components and MURDER that power wise. xeleventy billion

Would be best

Up it to 13k and 1200hp on race has happens.

I found it boring...and too small. I haven't driven the new one though. Would rather have an M4...which leads back to the Mustang.

Awesome, thanks. The fixture is what I didn't see before which answers the question. Awesome work

As long as they are identical and processed/crossed identical you can run whatever your amp situation allows. It would be really odd to run two tweeters as that is not where you need reinforcement. Two mids perhaps. If I were to do that, I'd personally add an analog LP to the second one such that it acts as midbass reinforcement and not mid. That is where you will be lacking the most.
-
The problem is that his whole system is a shit show. Supertweets have zero place, those mids aren't mids and the cure is not adding more drivers. I understand his goals are ear bleeding loud, but if he is going through the process of actually trying to add midbass (even if it is mono) then he should also use a real midrange. It will greatly help blend with those ridiculous tweeters. Adding midbass to the current setup won't really do a whole lot.

Not so much. CtsV fits in my company lease. I need backseats, a v8 and a suspension that is fun
-
I can't shop for another year since I am so indecisive on the remodel. I need a garage spot!
-
I don't want one either, but when it kills everything else I look at it makes it hard to not want one.

Wrong color and transmission otherwise something I have a hard time not contemplating. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=447342918&zip=55441&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D55441%26keywordPhrases%3Dsupercharge%26showcaseOwnerId%3D88714%26startYear%3D1981%26sortBy%3DderivedpriceDESC%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2018%26modelCodeList%3DCHEVSS%26makeCodeList%3DCHEV%26searchRadius%3D0&startYear=1981&numRecords=25&firstRecord=0&endYear=2018&modelCodeList=CHEVSS&makeCodeList=CHEV&searchRadius=0&makeCode1=CHEV&modelCode1=CHEVSS

Tame enough to drive daily too.
-
The car that out drives the M4 without the power adder ought to be UBER fun with more than 650hp
-
There really can't be a better buy in fun per $

If the backseat had 2" more legroom. DAMNIT
