Neither. I butcher my own pigs. $75 is a whole hog here. These are German specialty sausages. From 5-7$ per lb. I just got a lot lol

You can't be the first one that wants something with a 4.3 to move out better. If no one has done it and posted on forums perhaps you don't then either. I just figured it should be the easiest

I scare the fuck out of other parents. We live about 500' from the school and my truck is noticeable and sideways all the time. Screams a bit with the blower as well.

This is my third GM. 68 Impala, POS 02 Silverado, 10 Escalade. I'd never have bought the Escalade if there was ANY alternative...but there wasn't.

The parts to turbo the 4.3 have been done already by GM and therefore it should be the KISS solution. The typhoon showed us this.

Heartbeat/LSA is the cheapest route. Can be done for $3k if you are SUPER crafty. If not, then $6k+

Put a turbo on the 4.3 then. Will outperform your engine swap.

A $1500 swap would be impressive. Expect that to double. Obviously if you fab a bunch of stuff yourself then no. Hell I spent that on my headers...

I would start with deciding how big you want your box to be and then narrow down the choices. -

If you aren't doing a turbo it isn't the right block. Smallest of the LS blocks. I'd start with a budget and goals instead of shopping.
