I get way more done when mine is gone. Even with the kiddos. She of course gets nothing done when I am gone...but I am gone a lot.

GO KILLER!x
-
Ha, the other aspect is that it was the cheapest thing I could stomach actually paying money for.
-
So no tech. It has a couple pre-defined settings though since the tech is reflection or not. It doesn't do the over head and only simulates surround, but in general I don't give a shit as I almost only watch food television and sporting events with the occasional family movie night...for which the next one will be Cars 3.
-
I didn't say it was that stellar...on axis experience is way more than adequate for television and background music. My headphones, in ears, office speakers are for listening.
-
Okay. Squeezebox is for sale if someone wants it...you can basically have it. Ultra stupid that Logitech didn't keep the tech up. DTS Play-Fi has replaced it here. That and streaming via Roku. Just using the Play-Fi for all non-TV rooms in the house. Ported to those as well. Testing it out with some Rodrigo y Gabriela. The Martin Logan bar and sub are wickedly impressive compared to Sonus/Definitive/Sony/etc garbage. Pretty sure the B&W would have been killer to, but I trust the ML to have better longevity on their electronics and it is more invisible.

How I did my first house as well
-
Holy shit! Glad you are okay.

In other words, don't buy based on my link but make sure to find the 3 1/4 hp M12 variant that makes sense. It may be my link.
-
This is the wrong HP, but the old version. Just to give you an idea. A used 3.25hp I wouldn't hesitate to buy.
-
That is the newer version of the defacto standard router. I've used one and it makes my PC combo feel like a fucking toy. The older version did not look like it came from transformers, but 1960 Hitachi lol.
-
Supposed to be...but they don't have those batteries anymore so it ought to be interesting.
-
I have both, albeit with more voltage. You are correct. Anything more than junk wood neither the sawzall or circular saw will cut. ie, a few boards sure but don't use them for a job. Nice you can carry them to the basement to cut 2 boards but any use beyond that and my corded makita's come out.
-
The Ridgid chuck on my newer 18v is also a POS. Works fine with bits that are hex, but round...sucks.
-
Or use my Bosch Jigsaw
-
For infrequent use I'd deal with the cable and run ones you plug in. Obviously adding an el cheapo battery powered drill from whomever discounted the fuck out of something.
-
No need for 220v for a real router. https://www.tylertool.com/hitachi-m12v2-3-1-4-hp-variable-speed-plunge-base-router/hitnm12v2,default,pd.html?ref=pla&zmam=31282435&zmas=47&zmac=723&zmap=hitnm12v2&gclid=CjwKCAiAk4XUBRB5EiwAHBLUMV0-bHVL99pWA4r8TRcLWLlXbnOUriJcZr1fn-kKIuXTYJXYv6uyIBoCL3kQAvD_BwE

I did the same; however, my Ridgid batteries are completely shot. Going to see how HD deals with me here shortly. Stuff is around 10yrs old though. Not exactly sure the date since it was in this house, but I think pretty early on. Could be 8. 24v LI so the early ones.
-
Interesting indeed. So now I will only shop: Hitachi, ITW, Bosch, Makita or Snap-on and their respective underlings.
-
All "combos" in that range are disposable.
-
And yes of course it will with the right blade. If the batteries are shot though good luck.
-
Will the battery powered unit even cut mdf?
-
Indeed. That works too. I am timbuk 2 from u but have a jigsaw
-
Screw a board in for a "fence". Then either a router or jigsaw will work. Personally a fence and a jig saw is the fastest. Can easily round it over with the router on either.

What is worth it is doing nothing. Trading up is a better value.
