Buy a cheap one and for critical listening rooms get nicer dedicated 2 chn amps. Mine is a cheapo Niles, but I have Adcom, Crown, Pio Elite & Onkyo for more critical locations.

We got 2 feet on the mountian tops yesterday. We got 18" at 500' elevation yesterday

I understand that exactly. And I will be looking for a car that is hell of a lot of fun to drive, but is also capable of being comfortable for long trips. If the best for my money ends up being a Honda Accord then that's what I would want to get. Honda Accords are NOT fun to drive, lol. Well considering I drive a 1995 Saturn. When my friend and I traded cars for a weekend (2005 Accord V6) I was quite happy Then you'd absolutely LOVE the new 3 series. You would love a Honda Accord Mike, the gas milage and reliability make it worth it alone. While not as fun as an Audi or Bimmer to drive, still a pretty zippy ride with decent handling. Yikes, no. Even the reliability is questionable. Hands down by far the car that have caused my friends the most trouble. Everyone of them with one is always complaining about it being in the shop and the repair prices are as bad as BMW. And they are far from fun to drive. FWD SUCKS!

Cuft? Port freq and area? 0.635 Gross 2.5" x 5.5" long - 60Hz Cool. If you don't dig on the Sundowns I have some recommendations that'll fit in those enclosures then They might prefer slightly higher tuning, but that's pretty close.

Hopefully mostly early albums. Any with other "famous" musicians?

I do more then that in a month on the bike. Room is going along. That is a day on a snowmobile. And two really quick bursts in the boat. Sold the boat a couple weeks back though and haven't picked the other one up yet. Sounds more like it. 15gal goes in less than an hour at WOT in my wakeboard boat, lol

New "SQL" system for a metalhead - Right direction?
///M5 replied to pascalc's topic in General Audio
If you go with an 8, you'll need a tweeter that plays lower than 2.5kHz. Where are the locations that we can use for a tweeter? *figured you'd say drums and guitar which is a good thing for gaining the impact you desire -

I don't actually watch tv and I never watch movies. I've been to 3 in the past 15 years and maybe watched 5 or so in the same timeframe at home. For me it was a listening room. That I won't get in the next house as it'll be half the size of this one or perhaps even less, but it'll have a "movie" I want to watch on all the time and that is a lake out the front windows.

Looking for a replacement tweeter for MD102
///M5 replied to Sir-Lancelot's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I'm a huge fan of the full range, but it is a far cry from what you need. I also wouldn't even try that 8" in a 2way. In general it's a pretty bad idea to use an 8 with a tweeter. Definitely exceptions, but I don't think so here. If you do, decide to go partially active just add a small 2chn amp. If you don't find one with a crossover then you can easily build a quick simple passive one to go with the amp. I had an Alpine 30wx2 amp that was about 5" x 5" that would have worked perfectly. Don't think i could have sold it for $20 on here but am sure you can find something similar. Almost no money and it will let you choose a tweeter that makes sense for your ears. Even if Dyn says the 130 will work, i wouldn't believe them. Ask them how different the impedance, sensitivity, and I am sure that you'll find it's just another wrong tweeter. In my mind you only really have three options pony up and buy the tweeter that goes with the set, do a partially active setup, or seriously compromise a rather spendy component set. For me that only leaves one option which requires another amp. -
Staggered exposed outlets are speakers obviously.

Taping done. Now just mud, corner molding and sanding to go. And I'm not doing anything more until the walls are ready for paint Finished the wiring today. The room next to it houses the furnace and has a new lighting circuit. 2 fresh 20amp's for the HT room and 18 total can lights. You can't see the mini-cans yet, but you can see the holes where they will go

Although I've already burned 15gal of gas in a boat this year, lol

And I found out just now so it's too late. I would have blown today off and driven up North to rip around on the new beast. FUCK ME.

FUCK YOU WEATHER. Biggest snowfall of the year in MN today.

LED's are fucking confusion. I just want to make an array of SUPER bright blue's. Glue them to a hunk of aluminum that will be exposed to water and epoxy seal a lens on the front.

Then you'd absolutely LOVE the new 3 series. I'm sure I would. I also would have probably bee happy with Rockford Fosgate amps, subs, and coaxils when I upgraded from my 6x9's, before SSA and Sundown and DLS, but I'm glad I skipped that step Then skip the Honda too

Oh, yeah. Spread it on your balls. It'll make the woman think they are huge!

Happened to my brother and we had to take him to the emergency room. His eyes literally got so inflamed the skin on the top and bottom connected and he couldn't see. Funny that it only happened once though and now he eats mango with no issues.

What EGT are you looking at? I've got a dual Koso on the IQr. ISSPro make a cool color-coded one, complete kit (gauge, probe, lead wire) is ~$140. I already have VDO boost and oil temperature gauges but I want color-coded EGT and VDO doesn't make that. $140 is sweet. If you need the gauge to be waterproof they get a bit more spendy. Previous owner dropped $400 on the one on my snowmobile. Makes me want to add AFR to have a really complete monitoring system. Any ideas on cheap AFR gauges that are waterproof?

Exactly a great fucking reason to do it!!

And remember ANY measurement without posted uncertainty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. ie, don't leave out testing variations and on top of that poor methodology.
