    2011 f150 4 door 4 sa15s 4th order bandpass build

Most people you've seen with a bandpass are not louder and don't know what they are doing. Generally speaking it is an enclosure with little value outside of allowing the driver and box to be placed remotely. If you want a truly peaky and useless musical response then it is possible a bandpass is for you, but beware the morons that think they are being trendy and different when they are just re-exploring what was a fad in car audio more than 35 years ago. The amusing thing is back then the fad didn't last as long even without the internet. Sort of tells you the quality of the people bragging up BP enclosures today. Again the exception being a remote box with the port into the listening space, but most of those will run a 6th order BP if they can or know what they are doing.

Slabs of wood? No. Crappies can be slabs. You can have a slab of beef. Not a slab of wood.

I understand that feeling. Got a cold though. Exhausting. Aargh I never get sick, better be gone by tomorrow since I am supposed to go up North on Friday.

If that is my choice, I will forego caffeine. That however isn't hard for me. It doesn't actually do anything to me so if I don't have it, it isn't a big deal.

A double is 2 oz. Single is 1oz. Okay, not exact 30/28ths of an ounce. 64mg per oz pretty much.

I only drink carbonated water, coffee, wine & beer. Once in a blue moon juice or a smoothie. And yes, if I eat garbage I package it with a coke.

You said double, I used the culinary (ie Italian) definition which is a double portafilter. 2 of my doubles and most people can feel their hair grow.

Best budget buy for espresso are used Rancilio Silvias. Normally $400 from Ebay. Then you need to allocate for a grinder. I haven't shopped for budget ones, but $200 works. ...and the Sean rationalization is...by 24 months from now if you are roasting you paid for the roaster, the grinder, and the machine in the savings of roasting.

Yikes. 6 doubles on my machine means 96grams of beans per day which is more than 1/5 of a lb. At $20/lb you are $4 in raw beans alone per day. The first thing you should do is start roasting. 365 days at that rate is 73lbs/year. Let's downgrade that to 50. 50lbs of normal coffee = $1000 60lbs of Monkey Blend with shipping = $320 Behmour roaster $350 60lbs green > 50lbs Roaster paid for in 8 months. Doesn't solve your machine problem, but there it depends on how much you love your joe.

Doesn't mean it isn't a viable solution. I use a mokapot when I am camping. That is cheap.

I am not a french press fan. I used to be, but espresso ruined that for me.

No, that is the basement price on the best cup of drip you can get. How many espresso's a day are you into?
