I'll provide pictures and details...but they won't be posted on the public net. There's an alarm on the boat, but the details of where what hides isn't going to be for public consumption.

Will make a GREAT headunit

It'll be a while before that's done...something about flying to Japan on Tuesday.

Pictures or it is not true! You are welcome. Do you want pictures of something you sent to me? ...or pictures installed

If I were in charge of Fi, I'd charge more. A lot more. They could and I doubt it would affect the sales all that much. Pretty funny that the OP starts the thread to rip Fi on pricing and has pictures of DD in his sig. Doesn't take ANY audio education to see the comparison of whose prices are out of whack there....

Thank God that LA didn't steal another one of our teams. The LA Vikings would be absurd, sure they'd match the current Minneapolis Lakers jerseys but FUCK THAT.

REALLY wanted the buzz. Conveniently you only get one for the first three smokes and then no more...but then you need the nicotine. Wish I never smoked, so I could smoke.
-
I really just wanted a nicotin buzz and to inhale.

I've had major jonesing for the first time since I quit this year. Almost bought a pack to have one. Luckily I found no one to um off of.

what about the w6 do you like that makes you want something similar?

And yes, I was serious....but I do realize you are referring to a BP enclosure. That being said, I am sure that is not the right solution for you. To get a 4th order BP louder than a standard 4th order you'll seriously butcher the frequency response. And most likely instead you'll end up with something that isn't louder but has steep roll offs in the listening range at both ends.

New "SQL" system for a metalhead - Right direction?
///M5 replied to pascalc's topic in General Audio
Brad outlined the concern with the pro audio mids rather well. You WILL run out of excursion to be a beastly midbass; however, that isn't what you are searching for. If you want the drums you are needing upper midbass which they all will be great at. The gain in efficiency comes at a loss of frequency extension, but IMO it's a compromise that suits your goals rather well. I've heard all the above and am impressed. I am also about to start a build where I think I'll be using the Faitals. Mine however is not in a car, nor is it something that should cause you to say then the Faitals are the right choice. I need an outdoor acceptable driver and have a need to fit similar constraints as yours albeit for completely different reasons. While it would be best to listen to each of them to decide, if you can't I'd play with them in WinISD in the space that you have available and pick based on the most appropriate response that includes the processing that you will have to protect and tailor the response of the drivers. -
I'm confused. Yours is in a 4th order.

My problem is the splattering rain & wind. For some reason I get a lot more ash blowback into the Buick then I did the Olds....my guess was that the windows are twice the size so I get a lot more blowing back in. Hoping the deflectors will help that as well as block some of the rain out. Of course the intelligent thing to do would be to just quit smoking.....but I'm not there yet. Have you tried closing the window further? Usually more than 2" and that'll happen.
