save up and buy a nicer head unit...my friend has a dual, the one with the face in the back that lifts up and then the front face slides down...pos...the faceplates fall off, and half the time it turns on and half the time it doesnt. just save ur money.

How can you compare a driving emergency to running out of gas? go with the bls...especially with that much power...the qs will blow, they arnt meant to b loud, they are meant for sound quality.

get the btl fully loaded, it will give ya some breathing room. also, u dont have to run all 2600ish watts to the btl...i would stick around 2k.

to the op...ur best bet is to build a new box for that btl that is the correct size, and then see if its not loud enough for you...chances are it will be.
