he say's the sound is on point, the low end he was looking for, there is still some tweaking to be done, the output is really nice now, but we both believe there is still some more to be had. the box build is less than perfect, chuck was hoping for a show piece, and currently , this is not it. the box could use another several hours of prep work, repainted, and some additional lights installed..... the SA-8's are ftw. his new head unit is super nice as well.....

i have been secretly watching your build, attempting to at least learn the terms and approach to sq installs.... primarily just for the exsposure... when i am talking to someone about sq i often imitate my version of ///M5, lol, you guys humour me with the approach on this, i would assume if it went down in person i would just be like eating nachos ,cocking my head to the side, wondering when the hell we was going to turn the subs up, lol......you sq guys are at a whole other level.... thumbs up to your hard work and exstensive research... i would like to ultimetly get a nice head unit installed with some media options and ipod features, a little fun for the ride.... upgrade the factory speakers to a nicer after market, with a little power behind them.... and of coarse a better sub stage with a custom box installed. those BluesCarAudio products seem to be a win! chop

so , as far as the clown faces are concerned.... laugh now, cry later...... the right hand, ( laugh), is nearly done, before and after..... before after.....what do you think?
-
my intentions were simple enough, fill in space with a cool look, fix the clowns.... we threw a bunch of filler on there, sorta cool looking to me! outlined it all...... then he switched over to the shader.... the outline had dual 8 coils....the shader was a 15 the outline nedle, a 5 round and the shader needle was a 15.... i guess i did not really get al the angles of the tatt.... sorry, the back side is tied in real nice, the next session will tie in everything up to the elbow.... so, a1/2 sleeve.... this shows some of the shadeing coming together,

so this ^^^^^ is the before pic.... started the right arm today.......... will start the left thursday........... shout out to soapbox and mdizzle, both played a part in this coming together.... mikey proided the new artist, soapbox provided the machine.... the machine seen below was handcrafted by our very own.... it is designed after the pioneer Owen Jensen.... a big thanks to the both of you...

I look forward to the entire experiance, the challening parts just as much, if not more, i really want to elavate my overall exsposure in all aspects. sure it will take a while to absorb, but hey, at least i will have started in the right direction, you know!

lmao @ you guzzleing the grease... hey, five, do you have a copy of the cookbook up for sale....???? hit me up with a pm if you do! chop I don't really use cookbooks, but if you are after a book or two to read to understand how things work in the kitchen I HIGHLY recommend: Cookwise by Shirley O. Corriher On Food on Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen by Harold McGee Neither are really cookbooks per se, not that they don't include recipes, but more importantly show lessons on why what happens when you do what. Shirley's book is probably an easier first read, but expect years to absorb it all. Outstanding reads IMO. Akin to the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook for audio. lmao.... oops, sorry, i sorta went off subject....... yeah i was assuming you had seen my last post in the "port area" thread..... i was asking if you had one of your older copies of the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook . however, now that you threw those into the loop, i will have to lok into them as well, i love my kitchen! but, back onto the audio scene for a sec..... i was wanting you to help keep a eye out for a cheaper copy of the LDC ..... you had mentioned seeing around $20..... or, perhaps if you had one to pass on, then i would be interested in buying it from you...especially if it was scribbled full of ///M5 notes and highlighted areas!! lol thanks chop

five, we typically don't filter the bacon grease at all..... through it in a glass jar and keep it in the fridge dooor. i would be hard pressed to gauge how long to gather up enough for the deep fyer.... i will try to watch and see..... not long though between all of us. i agree with the Duck fat, but we do not eat it around here..... steve, nice addition to the electrical !

My neighbor wanted a new box for his Caprice to house three 12" Kicker CompVR's. The box he had was three seperate, one cube chambers, sealed. After I built the box, I stumbled across what would be any audio guys nightmare. I have never seen so many failed attempts to cut corners and rig a system, from front to back!!! I spent the better part of two hours removing items, no joke. I brought home 5 amps and two Kroger plastic shopping bags full of wire. After everything was removed, I redone the trunk area. I did not take too many pics, however, He will be bringing the car back next weekend and drop it off for me to finish upgradeing the wiring, as well as a big three upgrade, installing a nw head unit, and attempt to make sense of the five different speaker brand and four sizes, that supposedly form the mids and highs..... it will include additional trash bags for sure! okay small build log for the box..... like i said, Three 12" Kicker CompVR's. (4 ohms) 5.75 cubes, 87 sq. in. of port, tuned to 34 hz. currently they are wired series / paralled, 2.67 ohms the amp is a P.O.S. American Legacy LA-2278 ( it is called a 4000 watt amp!!! ) He has a fairly decent pioneer head unit, (model # = ?) Thanks to rattlebox317 for the garage space! The rain sucked. doing these larger boxes (8.5 cubes gross) by your self, sorta sucks. single baffle, however i did add four 6" internal braces, sorta forming a 45 on the face and attatched to the top or bottom. 3/4" MDF , Tight bond glue, 1 5/8 coarse thread drywall screws (pre-drill) , and silicone caulk. 1994 Chevy Caprice ( bubble- body ) with less than 150 watts per sub and no electrical upgrade what so ever, it wobbles the rear deck and has a decent amount of trunk flex. I will post up more pics next week, let me know what you guys thinnk of it, thanks for your input. Chop

looking good, quick build log, lol mine will be like 20x slower.... so all out that info, i missed the rca's ......would like all the info i could get on them as well as a few more pics..... the cap, tell all on it too, i am dusty on the latest trend of caps, are they back in acceptance now? i would think it appears to be larger than your need, that was always the rule for them, , lol, "go big" is that 7/8" birch? the pic shows four 15"s ....the box holds two..... whats up with that? oh, and the pic of the truck, FTW!!! chop

the raw look of no extra is a nice approach..... a bobber.... will keep that in mind..... i found a fellar that is willing to talk about the iron.... two years ago he is said to had been #1 in the world on the tatt scene have not spoke to himin person, but will be soon.... i wanted someone who will have a appreciation for your craftsmanship, i went to a few shops but did not get the vibe i needed,,,,, if i don't get a good feel when i walk in, i do not even waste thier time ,,,,,, oh, question , is the bobber and a rat rod along the same line, is there a similar approach where the two are combined.... too much candy on yours for a rat rod, for sure, but i am sure you know where i am going with it.....
