key element of our strip is that TRU (tuner shop) owns a portion of the lot, keeps his shop opened till midnight, tells the cops that we are customers and it is private property... they asked him why we were all outside if we were customers.... he said look at my shop , it's 800 sq. ft. , any advice on how to get them all in there! sorry that the heat is so bad... that sucks! i am almost....almost, always at a area were it is welcomed to an exstent.... i usually pay to be in a show, instead of paying them! chop

uh , just to clarify, this was in our downtown district, on the strip, where everyone cruises, not in a residential neighborhood, we respect our neighbors. just kinda think it is a neat ticket (trophy) to get, with the wording and all. I know i could of done 400 feet easily, lol IAK

thanks for all the input.... for real, you all are great! let's see, only update for now is ...... i have a little better idea of when my money will be ready, so we have about two weeks to be getting ready. i have four days offthis weekend, so i will be tearing out the rear of the car..... then we can get some solid numbers.... i have walked away from the trunk idea..... we have decided to wall it for sure. i need t talk to a few folks about some team-ship.... looking at pricing as well as support.... no more pap, sorry, i feel obligated here, due to this great privilage extended to me (IAK) i have a feeling this budget is going to raise before the car does.... i mean i might hold off on the lift and other cosmetics for now..... i would like to do a little bit of a hair trick.... it will take some cash seeing how i keep my head shaved!!!! ttul chop

guessing i might have a issue here....... okay, i know for a fact that two weeks ago, lowrider magazine had a link and ad for the lowrider magazine, 25th anniversary tour, car show, to be held at the indaina state fairgrounds, on september 5th......2010 now, there is no link, i was going to paste it to our thread for general intrest..... i also looked on the indiana state fairgrounds website.....nothing...... there is a single post about the show in the lowrider magazines forums, 112 views and 0 responses.....it states september 5th as well..... any info, links, or clues are welcomed.... might be monday before i can call any body in person to ask about it.... 'sigh'

love the wall idea..... but also wanting to gain info/knowledge/exposure to 4th order builds/specs/approaches.... sooooooo, guess a 4th order would be my vote. either way, will be watching klee7013, his videos are ftw! X2!! lol chop

I think the numbers speak for themselves. Sell the PAP. ///M5 hey bro! been awhile, how's things going with you? chop

i would have to fall back and look at all of your goals, power, space, intentions ........ but just off the basics..... i have seen the sa-8's impress many , many times over in their brief introduction! i would have to say, if i had that equipment on hand.... the 8"s would be getting the attention.... the PAP should sell easily enough, and use the funds toward the next build. just my .02 .... chop

i swear!!!!! i hate this dam Caprice!!!! decided to throw a head unit in it finally.......what a joke! there is so much rigging and hacking that has been done to this car it is unreal! i will need another day to try to get it all fixed back correctly, that is after a trip to the junkyard! i got the head unit resting in the dash, played some music to see how the factory location equipment sounded currently, both front and rear are aftermarket..... i have to say it sounds like a crisp paper sack flapping in 50 mph winds!!!! (not appealing) i will be slowly gathering a few supplies out of the basement, from old installs, and try to patch this back together..... perhaps a few pics, but nothing great by any means ... chop

I will be tearing out the old install on the Dakota......... the new instal will consist of ; *no headunit, lol, at the moment. *same front stage *adding a XS D5100 for the electrical *keeping single run of 2/0 gauge *adding two SAZ-1500D's , will be strapped at 2 ohms. * they will be pushing two WMD2 18"s *adding additional sound deadening *not sure at what stage, but will be tinting the windows *will murder out the entire exterior *perhaps lower the stance and add wheels and tires, (toward end of season) *still playing with a couple of enclosure designs..... currently the amps are here... the subs are in the mail, the battery is here, biggest issue currently would be radiator and heater core... there will be a amp purchase for the front stage.... and a new alarm installed.... that will sorta complete the year as far as goals and well over budget.... we will see how it goes, for me, personally, i will do automotive repair first and foremost, as well as the tear out, it's cheap enough to do demo , lol then the audio, the exterior will be toward the end of things.... chop

Thanks bro. you said its a whole new kind of love and your 100% right. at only 25 hours old, i would give my life for this guy. he is so precious. Its funny we spent 13 months trying to make him and 10 months cooking him. Thats almost two years waiting for this dude and now that i/we have him im scared as fuck. I really have no clue how to care for a newborn or what little things to expect other than the normal stuff. I know we will be ok. were an in love married couple that planned his arrival. We both have income and we have a great house to raise him in. There are families out there with far less than us and survive just fine as long as there is love in the family. omg , you are so right! when Regina and I had Samantha, I was only 16 yrs. old.....talking about scared, we were definetly scared! best thing for that little guy....... you! chop

hey bro, i am on a similar mission with my new ride....... i have no solid input at this very sec, other than to mention that the sub firing hard into the trunk lid might not be too cool.... the aeros through the deck is on my mind big time though.... have looked at that . a little hank seems to build quite a few 4th orders, perhaps he could be of some assistance to you..... how wide is your rear deck..... like from back of seat to glass..... also, are you willing to cut anything , or fold seat down? good to see you around..... we play those couple of IAK demos from time to time that you made for us, thank you again, can't wait to get some more, lol! chop IAK
