thank you sooo much for this..... i truly am struggling with it in so many ways.... there is no words for how hard it is trying to keep my head above water. mom has alot of needs and it is a true challenge in everyway. currently, midnight, samantha is helping me out by assisting her with a shower.... god bless samantha, she has her one year old, newborn, husband, new job, and college going on.... and still will help dad out! our household consist of 9 of us and three hounds. a full range of needs and schedules for sure. prayers for health, patiance, and funds to keep things moving are needed. it helps so much to have our family there for support. thank each and every one of you, from our entire household! chop

i had a different install style i was thinking of...that would of brought the wire through the car.... but, not this one... and that install will happen, i want it to stay original... but it will not intrude on the carpet perhaps you can fab something to smooth the transition out so it will not be as noticable under the carpet... like sides and top.... maybe a sheet of thin board... sorta like underlayment?

Regina...Gina......Momma Chop.....Chop's wifey......Gina38.....THE BOSS of IAK! 2002 Dodge Durango 4X4 4.7V8 all options minus sunroof. We had to add some personality to asap....lol We had Mike,(DD9915D!!!), at Excessive DB's go through and upgrade the alarm and factory sounds. He installed an Excaliber alarm with all the bells and whistles, (punn intended), including the remote start, just in time for the cool weather.... it is definetly a loud alarm for sure.... We had the factory head unit replaced with a 7" touchscreen flip up to compliment the 5 flip down in the rear(factory) Mike carries American Bass so he was able to give us a sweet deal on the equipment.... All the power and speaker wires are American Bass, 0 gauge ran to the rear and split up with a beefy distrubution block for both amps to share. The doors were stuffed with the American Bass SQ carbon series 6.5"s ..... We also deadened them with Fat Mat, reducing the road noise and increasing the sound qaulity.... We was able to get her a Sundown Audio SAX 100.4 to run the mids and highs.......thank you Steve Mead. Both amps will be mounted in the cargo area and have fans, (to be installed), drawing cool air in across them through the factory side vents.... Regina has a Sundown Audio SAZ 1200D on the way from DB-r.com right now....should be here Friday. This is just slightly bigger than what is needed for her new subs, but we will be sure to keep it set right... The subs being used are American Bass 8"s .... they are setting in a ABC style enclosure.... There is a little story behind the subs and enclosure.....keeping everything out in the open... Mike had a few mistakes along the way on the install...nothing too huge, just somewhat inconvinent mostly..... he felt terrible and would not hear of anything less than to 'make-up' for his mistake by buildind the enclosure for free, and supplying the subs as well....FREE!! ..... perhaps a sign of truly going above and beyond to keep a customer happy...Thank you Mike, from us both. (there is a small chance that he is scared of Regina!, I know the rest of us are!!!) we will post up more pics of the install after the sub amp gets installed...also upgrading the factory tweeters and doing a big three in the near future.... lol, now you see why my build does not progress quickly....ha ha We plan on visiting the Alton family on the 6th. we will see how she does on the mic then.... stayed tuned..... love you Regina!!!!! Chop IAK

please, while we are on the subject...tell me some info on this, i knownothing about it, not even what voc's are.... time for ol' chop to go to school Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) refers to organic chemical compounds which have significant vapor pressures and which can affect the environment and human health. thank you for a response.... we have the new deadener....but have been out of a garage for a bit...mike has had some lease issuse or something? but rest assured... it will be removed and upgraded thanks again for your input...i was sure to flag it accordingly! chop
