my bad five, i knew i should of wrote that........ i guess it just seems like alot of sub for fair cash..........goals....i am into bass heavy hip-hop, cruising and showboating my sounds....perhaps once to twice a week , on the strip(cruise spot), so daily driver somewhat, just not evryday, lol. i am pretty well broke but this seems real close to the style sub i like. i like loud, but when the lows start flexing every thing i get all hype, i have seen the post of LB and agree with you, i have also seen your post, and i think that is a huge spectrum, lol. i know you are a sq guy, your knowledge and budget far exceeds mine.... i value your input, so if you have any like technical stuff to point out bring it on, i want this sub inverted for looks, i want it to be ported to the side in my extended cab dakota, i will probably never be compettive, but maybe get micced a couple of times......... uh, like what else should i be telling you guys....

i have seen him on here i beleive he is the top dog over on pap too, i will read up on what he has going, thanks......

First off you are never going to get a straight answer cause everything is subjective to the install. Second WEIGHT of the sub has nothing to do with the proformance of a sub. Third state your music preference, your goals of the system, car it is going in, and other equipment. ^^^^^^^^^ yuuuuup ^^^^^^^^

that little port is your friend, i usually fire both back an dnever can afford to rebuild second box for comparison, but we sorta did like box a in the cougar, and it seems real nice, but now i guess we gotta do box b to decide, darn it. lol. uh, usually you will see sub up ,port back in suv's but, like all the fella's are saying, you gotta test it.....but trust me that little port is nice to have.

i often look at 10's and wonder how a big multiple sub install would be with them, i like the looks of a bunch of subs and the grin of saying "all i have is some 10"s".

perhaps a little more read time on enclosures will zero you in on which sub you will choose, they do go hand in hand....ported is where you want to be. mdizzle, on here, moved from a fi Q to xcon , he seems to like ssa's sub quit a bit, perhaps hit him up for a reveiew.

shizzzon is definetly knowledgable, so he suggested those exact subs or did he say use 10" subwoofers? what price range of 10" subwoofers are you looking for? the AQ amp, do you have it already?
