uh, i think the fellars want to tell you just do alot of research on here, and then att the end of the day, build it.....test and test some more.....it is kinda like deer hunting, you can do everything the other guy is and still end up with different results......there is alot to be factored into how you will really do with them db's................ in fact there are entire forums with 1000's of post discussing exactly that i know i am reading the post wrong jay-cee, but are you suggesting that this gentlman can do 160's with these two particular 12"s at 45hz? perhaps i am in the need of some details....

got mine super low price, but am tradeing it off, I am on to much of a budget right now to afford the electrical upgrades needed to run it, i know i will be happy with the saz1500d for now.
-
dang.....this was all drama filled like and then you pull off second......good job, bro
-
well, that explains that, lol. PG shirts rock and don't mess with a boy named Sue! and as far as my earlier post, uh, skip all that........... did some tradeing and now i have a SAZ-1500D, alot more realistic to my budget, for electrical right now..... so i will most likely pursue the t-line, 1500 watts at 1 ohm, tunning will be either what the sub wants, matching the fs at 24hz. or i might shorten it up a bit and tune it to 30hz. still plenty low and will compliment the over all response, perhaps just a little louder? we will see. i guess if i build the first and am not happy with it, i will do what we do best, build another, lol. now in the next few days, start to look around for where this SAZ-3000D might of gotten off to.

i see. i have read quite of few build logs that suggest sealing that area off provides good results. looking back at your build pics, i bet that was some labor to get it all done. where at in AZ...mom, use to stay in AJ .......jc? -
reading your sig, when is those "upcoming" upgrades coming, I would be pretty hype to know that was on the way. so you got a decent combo there, what vehicle do you have? just trying to get a feel for what we are looking at here, 145, single sub, 1600 watts, legal is really doing pretty well. how long have you had your SAZ 3000D? I have one put back.

oh, he also offered the info that it has a stiffer spider, so i guess that is good to know.
-
well now i am back to he drawing board! just found out my sub is dual 2's. so i will either be 1 or 4 ohm, so goodbye simple little 1600 watts in a t-line.... my amp will have to be at the 1 ohm. so here comes 3k @ it. not so good for a t-line. so i will keep the gains / volume knobs at bay, but now I gotta re-think this whole enclosure thing. too much math and reading for a big ol' dummy, lol

what will be your overall plans with the finishing look around the sides and face of the enclosure ? looks like you will see some nice numbers come out of this. -

Good lord man what happened? took a fall off a steel member and bounced off everything there was on the way down. left wrist had a chipped bone, right arm was broke, nice and clean break, stradle injury, everything healed , but the bruising was pyschodelic looking....purple and black stripes!, they glued part of the eyebrow back on, only four stiches to the side there, concussion made for a bad time for several days, still wearing eyeglasses for corrective vision, it made my eyeball change shape a ittle, like a stigutism thing, went from 20/30.....to 20/80. being taken to the clinic for a piss test first :::::::: priceless , lol, i can still hear that nurse yelling at the boss man, lol.

i guess i have the great fortune of being within just minutes of the local strip (cruise spot), I don't have to travel far to be more than welcomed with loud systems, currently i have none, but i cruise with my buds alot, every weeekend is a car show / soundoff out here, nothing officall, but it is bigger than quite a few shows I have been to. respect is something that is giving, it is relient upoun the individual to have a set of values, it is easy enough to sipher out wether your hobby is welcomed at any giving place. I have been in some really neat situations over the years, where groundpounding was welcomed and appreciated. I can only assume that if the said person was to make these choices on audio / respect senarios, that they are equally rude in other venues of thier life. it comes to mind that karma is always present, some one who "don't give a fuck" about others will soon enough fall victim to another in this catergory, perhaps this individual won't "give a fuck" about jacking him for all of his audio gear, trust and believe, it happens. another benifit i have is i go to where audio is, as op said, it is welcomed in some neighbor"hoods" , the hood is where i came from also, and itis certainly part of the culture, if you will, to play hip-hop loud, shareing with other fans of it. I have only seen a small hand full of sitiutions where i might of mis-judged the enviroment, sorry grandma! lol. seriously fellars, any thing can be fun, and welcomed, it is definetly a judgment call and will be 100% reliant on that individuals ability to show a sense of values and respect. we could pick on Harleys, wich is assumingly genric for "bikes with loud exhaust" but then the exhaust thing covers more than just them.............. top fuel drag cars, jet air planes, Indy cars, imports, billy bad-ass diesels........ ( all of wich is here in Nap), it will quickly make you a grouchy and dark person if you begin to choose to point fingers at others, ..............enjoy audio respectfully, and others will have the chance to decide if they too appreciate what you have built..........like i had mentioned before, i have shared my system with quite of few folks who would not fit the ticket when it comes to ground pounder fans. things that are in excess to some, still can be enjoyed in moderation, by others.

And this is the problem with audio these days, and why car audio has a bad name and negative perception by the general public. Everyone needs to respect everyone's space, and if your music is pouring into someones car near you, it is horribly disrespectful. Just wait until you have a kid and after a long day you are trying to get your kid to fall asleep on the drive home and some jerk has their crap rattling and it wakes up your kid. See how much you like it then. i agree 100%

maybe he'll read this when he get's back.... but roll through my town like that? not only will you be going to court, minimum $250 fine if i write it on the city ordinance, i'm towing the car and yanking subs to inventory the POS. gotta make sure there isn't anything hidden in the sub box. and hopefully you'll get mouthy with me, then things get fun! sad truth? and you can ask ///M5 to verify this, i'm a basshead. but i have respect, and i guarantee i've built/owned louder then most. and i work in a town that is pure hood, research cairo,il and find out. for all the hood, there isn't much rattle, lol. not much at all!! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
