the fosgates are dual 2 ohms..... we have several options we could go with.... currently, this minute, the budget would be about $5 bucks......lol, sad but true! however, I would imagine in about two weeks she would have some cash together. the budget will not be high, nor even, moderate, this is all as cheap as possible build.... this summer, once i get some cash coming in, i will try to upgrade her install to something respectfull..... You got to understand one thing about Samantha, she is a music guru, she has to be jamming at all times.... most folks has files in thier ipods for different music..... not my kid, she has different ipods for different music variety..... i say this to say, she needs sounds in her car now, lol, I taught her how to drive with the stereo cranked, as i did, steve, bear, bubba, matt, and starting with kim, lol......family tradition... she feels unsafe driving with no tunes, lol i think we have everything for the first part of the install.. around here, we call the sort of amp we are looking for a shitter amp..... missing screws, scrathes, dings, dents, tattoos, bent, prior felonies...... cheap as possible for now, as long as it amplifies the signal.... hell the one in davids car, has no bottom panel.....lol, but it is still going.... i will check the other links out though.... i think fixing one of these might be the best bet. but i sure like the ones being offered too.. thanks a ton for the help thus far. chop

Some of us have build logs that are easier to link to..... or perhaps a few "favorite" shots from a build..... start a new log on here or post a old one...... maybe a few pics of one you helped on or done for a friend.... if they are already on the SSA pages somewhere, that is cool, still let's combine them in here as well.... one big area for them all to shine in! Chop

okay.... pizza rolls are highly addictive, saty away! lol same thought process, 10 pack of hotdogs......8 pack of buns........aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! wtf, do they factor in the one you drop down the back of the grill as well as the one you snack on while waiting for the rest to cook..... or, did they create these senarios by this very application? hmmmm also the fritter patties, 5 in a pack, that give two folks two sammiches, the last one sits in the freezer to grow fuzzy with ice crystals, then thrown away. next...... you park in your driveway, and you drive on the parkway, what gives? then there is , a shirt, a tie, a dress...... a pair of socks, a pair of shoes, a pair of gloves.... a pair of pants? how did this come to be? this is a fun thread, lol chop

Thanks bro. Samantha is a great friend to me, as well as a daughter, it makes it a easy comboination to go out and have a good time. so,etimes we get carried away clowing around and Mom ges bent out of shape over it all. lol " you two need to grow up, your embarrasing me!" lol Cableguy184, it does not appear as if they repair all models, perhaps i read into the pricing wrong, i assume you have had some expriances with them, perhaps you could send me a pm on what all goes down, we have several amps that could be worth repairing, they are throw aways from installs i have helped fix in the past, the folks tell me just to throw them away, but i have held on to alot of them, to see about repair one day. could someone jog my memory on who the other two outfits are that db-r sends work to, I can't seem to find that info, but have heard of them in the past.

too cool, that gives me a little bit of insight to how you and perhaps several other of the fellas stay on top of so much material, so fast, all at once.... Exactly why it is annoying when noobs make shitty threads. When you try to read every thread it gets annoying fast. I didn't start out as cynical as I am, but will blame the dipshits. If I only read the topics with really good titles then I wouldn't read very many threads. I have a better appreciation for how things work on a forum day by day, as well as the mods who run them. I see us, IAK, set goals based on a agreed upoun value system and it is sometimes very strainious to maintain those expectations. I could only imagine the approach to corral the magnitude of this size. it truly pays a compliment to those who moderate and build this forum, if there is a doubt of ability here, go else where and attempt to have a productive conversation. sorry to cloud up your build thread steve, but hey, we kicked but on buttoning up a few loose ends on your ride today, it is really sounding good.... I am ready to go out and get some new music for it, let the weather hit 70, and cruise for several hours! chop

wow, i don't click on the little geo metro thread for one day, was all caught up on the whole lawn care thing, lol, and......POW!!! We are doing a wall and taking some bangs from "Silvy" , wow, miss a little, miss alot.... them west coast boys always do move faster, I think it's the air! lol you go bro, I am tuned into this one! chop

wow! I've yet to make the commitment to piss in the desk area trash can, but i have thought about it..... if I had seven actuall forums going at once, I might indeed have to, where do you find the time to walk away? lol chop

too cool, that gives me a little bit of insight to how you and perhaps several other of the fellas stay on top of so much material, so fast, all at once.... i keep up several tabs open, up to 10 or so some times, and it seems like crazy time.... seen shizzon say he had open 60! Do you remember the story of me and mikey meeting up at a local sound off....? he was handing out SSA flyers by the dozens, same scene at a few of the sound offs we attended together.... he definetly reps for Team SSA on a serious level!!! chop

i will check out this site, for Samantha and for me, lol!!! thanks chop

no problem! just fyi, there is a list of screen names in my sig of IAK members. i want to get several of them updaed, even of the old installs, just to have all in one place for referance .... working on it slowly. the Pierce brothers have been doing a good job of keeping in touch, so far they have impressed me with the customer service, i know this is super important. I personally would like to run a IA set-up out of the others you had to mention, have had a eye on them a long time... but right now, me, steve, and thehawk are pounding with PAP for a while.... chop

uhhhh, let's see, off the top of my head, Bigrank has a a Fi BTL ..... Mikey has the 18" Xcon...... Jordon has the 12" NS...... Bear has two 12" IA 187's..... Chuck has four of the SA-8"s..... Stevemead has four of the 8's as well.... David has a 18" FI BL..... Mike uses alot of FI in his installs, just done a 18" FI BTL in a blazer... I believe some of these builds are up, some are being upgraded, and some of the fellas are deprived of the internet at the moment...... and some are in the mail i believe .... but rest assured, there are quite a few of these products being used by the IAK family currently! chop
