    DD T1508

I guess I meant faster in terms of response. I know, in theory, if given an 8 and a, let's say 12, they;ll both respond to the dynamic peaks and valleys of music, hopefully the same. However, larger speakers tend to be boomier and therefore seem slower in their response. Make sense?

    DD T1508

Thanks Todd! My friends consider me to be adept at car audio install, however I've never received a "quality craftsmanship" compliment, which I consider to be amongst the highest of compliments one could pay an installer/enthusiast of car audio. Oh... btw. LOVE the avatar, especially after happy hour @ Chili's! LoL. And yes! 8's are the way to go. If you're unsure, and let's face it, most of us considering 8's are, GO WITH DIGITAL DESIGNS. I can't stress that point more. I've never heard a better, louder 8. Faster, yes. Louder, no. The only 8 more articulate than DD is the Image Dynamics 8. However, I was disappointed with its output. My friends with 10's and solo 12's from the local Bestbuy are all envious of this system. I'd love to hear what a pair of these beastly little 8's could register of the meter. I've read that one DD 1508 was able to achieve 150+ dB. My set up on normal music is probably in the high 120's to low 130's. I'll have it metered in the next few weeks.

    DD T1508

Hey guys! This is my first post on this forum, so please excuse me if I'm breaking any protocol. Anywho, if anyone's interested in Digital Designs' new T series subs, check out the link below in which I posted my build thread. I realize it's linked to Elemental Designs, but that's only because I was initially considering the use of their 8" sub. I can't compare the two, but let's just say that I am THRILLED with the performance, sound, and appearance of DD's T1508. I couldn't ask for anything more... well not from an 8" sub. Don't take that the wrong way, though. If I were to compare to anything at the local Best Buy, I'd have to be looking at a single 12" or a pair of 10's to match its output. This is all just MHO though as I've yet to even break it in or have it metered. Soon though! Check it out! http://forum.edesignaudio.com/showthread.php/ford-ranger-help-71271.html
