  1. I just said I swapped out head units and the problem has persisted.
  2. Who do you think told you about the pico fuse in the pioneer head units ahahah. Yes I replaced it and I still have the engine noise.
  3. I did not know cars had radio noise suppressors built in to the car's circuit from the factory. Would this be something a certified lincoln technition would be able to locate and repair if needed? If not, will this manual do if I buy it? Demo of the xcons.

    lmfao me 2 =(
  5. I doubt it is the rcas. When I say I replaced everything to get rid of this noise I have. I had the $120 tsunami rcas in there and I had the noise. Then I switched to the Knu Krystals and I still have the noise.

    loudest 15' sub

  7. This problem also occured before I did the big 3.
  8. I am just hoping I don't have to go through all of the vehicle grounds and retighten them to find the problem
  9. I just ordered 2 d3100s for the back of my suv. I have 2 runs of 1/0 running from the front battery (d6500) to the back. I am running 4 sundown 1500s, a sundown 50.4, and a sundown 125.2. What would be the best way to wire all of this? This is what I had in mind: Each of the d3100s would get its own run of 1/0 gauge directed from the front battery. I would run 2 of the 1500s to 1 d3100 and another 2 to the other d3100. Then I would hook up the 50.4 to 1 d3100 and the 125.2 to the other d3100. Does this sound like the best possible method?

    Routing power?

Run a distro block before you get to the headliner. They are not that big and should fit behind the b pillar or you could mount it under the seat.
  11. Run the two runs of 1/0 to the back battery on the left (or right, whichever is closer to the front battery) then run two (I would do 4 to make up for having that distance between the batteries, overkill maybe, but it couldnt hurt) runs of 1/0 to the other battery and connect all amplifier positives to the second battery. I don't know if I could fit like 25 ring terminals on a single battery lol. Is that the best possible way or is my idea about the same?
  12. Also is 2 runs of 1/0 enough to run to the back? I only have the d6500 up front.
  13. The way the batteries are layed out I cannot run a bus bar as it would be the width of the car. I have to have 1 battery on the left and 1 on the right in order for everything to fit correctly. Would my idea work out alright?

Has anyone ever heard of VIBE?

JBL/Sony are two different grades. Unless we are talking about old school Sony. From the name I thought they were going to be a high end set or a real low end set. I will just stay away from VIBE personally. I just thought they might be like a power acoustik and then I was going to make fun of that kid the next time I saw him. Thanks for all the support guys!
  15. I doubt it. My guess is that his front stage amp is more prone to cutting out due to voltage issues and when the sub is on he has some. I am thinking it is voltage issues too. I looked on the dash and it was at 13.5. I'll have to check with the dmm. Also I will try the rca thing.
  16. I am posting this topic for a friend. I cannot figure out what is wrong with this thing. Here is what is going on. Voltage remains steady. When subs are off the front speakers do not cut out reguardless of volume. When the subs are on the front speakers cut out at higher volumes. I disconnected one speaker at a time at the amp and ran each speaker separately and they front left cut out when connected and the front right cut out when connected. I checked all the connections near the amp and everything seems to be fine. The gains are also set below normal. What could be wrong? The amplifier is not bad because it would have cut out with the subs off.
  17. It sounds like an rca problem or something on the amp may be loose causing it to vibrate more than normal when the subs are running. I was thinking to myself that it might be something loose on the amp. When I get my 125.2 back I will put mine in his car and test it out. I am curious to why you guys think it would be an rca problem. If it were an rca problem wouldn't the problem persist with the subs off?

I have an Iraggi 260 amp in there now. The way all the pulleys mesh together there is no way I can run a second alternator or else I would. I am adding a d6500 for the front and 2 d3100s in the back.

Judging by the looks of their products they are kind of like a power acoustik type of company. I could be wrong though. That is why I am asking you guys for your opinions.
