Hey thanks for the reply Lucky. I found the settings you mentioned and there is a big bag of probes. I checked a few and most have 10x on them. Some with alligator clips extended from a wire off the probe, some not. I brought this home with me today so I have use of it as long as I need it. If I took better pics, would you have time to guide me through this process? I would make it worth your time, within reason. its pretty self explanitory ... hook up the 10x probe to the channel 1 ... probe goes on + and alligator clip goes on - output ... run a 50 hz tone for sub 1khz for speaker ... u will see a sine wave it may be too small to see adjust the top channel 1 knob ... if it goes off the screen do the same ... adjust the gains until u get a clip the turn it down a tad

I have made two schematics. The second one is revised and I think it should work. I also have a few questions. 1) Which is a better setup? 2)What size fuses would go in each fuse holder? the amps have a 150 and 500 amp fuse rating and the alternator is 260 amp.

ya i got it hooked up to just the signal cable ... i got 2 weeks off from work so i am gonna dig down deep ... i need 2 get my alt still from iraggi so that could be causing it ... i believe they put in the wrong regulator so i have 2 send in my stock one and hes gonna make me a new 1 ... excessive gave me my money back so i am happy =)

i was just wondering what the best 12" subs i could buy for no more than $350 each would be that can take 1kw rms daily? i am looking for a hybrid of sq and spl ... i listen to hip hop and techno ... i love my lows but i also like that punchy techno bass ... my icons seem to be very picky with music choice ... some songs get real loud while others sound less loud than my 4 old 12s running off of 1.3kw rms total ... the subs will be in a 5.7 cubic ft enclosure

the box is sealed ... thats why i do not understand why certain songs are significantly louder than others ... is it possible that my signal is more sensitive now to frequencies because i have been using an ipod and obviously compressed files u loose a lot of bass ... i had a hifonics amp before this so maybe the processor couldnt really depict which to get as loud on if that makes any sense ... im going to try some cds and see what happens

alright thanks ... so get 2 of the 200 amp relays that company sells ... i must admit it is a pretty sweet comp ... i want more leds for my car .... if i were to put in 16 volt batteries would they charge up to 16 volt using a 14.4 volt alternator?

its never a bad idea but u really dont need either in ur case

sub cannot exceed 8" mounting depth

crutchfield is usually good about that type of stuff

it would help knowing what brand and model oscope ... most do not have an auto adjust feature and u need to manually change the settings to see the wave ... mine is autoset =)

we played a wide range of music and it didnt really change ... also did a 50 hz test tone (only one i had at the moment) didnt really get much more .... the sealed was actually larger (1.6 cu ft) and the ported is 1.4 cu ft. would this make a significant difference?

well u will need the probes for that before you can do anything ... most likely a 1x probe is not going to suffice ... u will need to get a set of 10x probes .... after getting these adjust channel 1 setting to either ac or dc it does not matter ... depending on how much voltage you will need to adjust the channel 1 knob at the top accordingly ... just play with it until you can see the sine wave

is it the same signal as the front rca output ... i do not listen to surround sound music or dvds so will the left rear sound exactly the same as the left front (same thing with the right side)? ... reason being i have 2 sets of components in the front and have my rears running off the high levels ... i wanted to run my front components using the front and rear rcas so i can adjust the kicks independently from the doors

i dont run my system with the car off so i shouldnt need one a solenoid correct?

alright i think i get it ... i will make a revised copy of ur print to see if what i see is what you intended on ... where can i buy two of those 200 amp solenoids?

just call polk and get replacement tweeters ... they shouldnt be more that 50 a set for replacement ... also see if the warranty is still valid

i couldnt get the link you sent me for the relay ... wouldnt i need something more than a 500 as my amps have a potential draw of 650 amps?
