missing link voltage module?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
cannot get a hold of him ... anyone else know anything about this product? -
damn man take it easy. i'm not the most savvy with car audio and this is the first time i've ever been on a forum. i just did it because FI doesn't display a phone number [even though i actually got one don't ask me how]. now i just had a question about these two speakers because i am on a ledge between the two. everyone keeps saying BLs and to be honest, that's what i was leaning towards in the first place. again, i'm not sure why i pissed you off so much, but i'm not really that knowledgeable when it comes to all this. so sorry for mentioning the term SQ, but i'm not entirely sure of what i'm talking about and i'm trying to get as close as i can so all you tech savvy guys out there can help point me in the right direction. Don't worry about Sean, you'd be surprised how many threads similar to this that pop up every day, it get's old. x2

i am pretty sure everyhting is fine ... i just need more batteries ... i was running my amp today pretty hard on rap and it was fine ... the techno takes more out of it believe it or not cuz it hits every second

i plan on building a wall of 4 18" subs powered by the new saz-4500 when it comes out at .5 ohm ... i have around 32 cu ft of volume to use up if i want ... i do not know which subs to get ... i am going to be using these for daily listening and i like punchiness and my lows ... i am trying to maintain sound quality while also staying loud .... which 18" sub would you choose? ... i am open to all options and opinions

Something wrong
Lucky 76 replied to Dutchie.'s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
it sounds like you have a short or a loose connection somewhere ...try swapping the h/u first with a differnent 1 ... if it does the same thing try running a wire from your battery to your amp's turn on to see if it cuts out (make sure to disconnect the existing turn on wire from ur radio and ur amp) ... if it dosent then the turn on wire is shorting out somewhere ... if problem persists it might be your rcas if you are running an amp for your speakers ... try using a differennt set of rcas -
will do ... replace my sound quality with sounds good

2 saz-3000d strapped?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i also read that you can strap them down to a 1 ohm load so .5 per amp ... is this true? ... if so how much power will they be putting out? -
2 saz-3000d strapped?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
is that including the front battery? i am assuming no because that would only add up to around 560 amps -
You do NOT want sound quality. Don't even begin to say you do. Ever again. read my definition of sound quality ... sound quality can be used in many way ex the sound quality of an exhaust can either be loud and grunty or it can sound quiet and smooth =) Your definition is stupid. If you aren't referencing your front stage you AREN'T talking about sound quality. Even if you were you are going to have severe hearing damage within the next six months so you might as well say fuck it from the first place. Speed is NOT an issue with any quality sub....but go ahead and buy the overpriced RE stuff. ya im not gonna get re n e more ... i dont know exactly what i am doing as far as amps and cubic feet go yet (need more exact measurements as far as cu ft) .... i am going to put this topic on hold for right now and i will have a better idea in the next month

alternator problem?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
alright thanks i will keep that in mind -
i upgraded my alternator to an iraggi 260 amp .... i had an excessive amperage 300 amp in there but it was not charging correctly ... it was only charging at 13.9 and would get voltage drops into the low 10s ... i sent it back because i thought the alternator was bad ... i sent my stock one to dom to build me one to work for my car ... i just put it in and am getting similar readings ... this time i am getting around 13.8 (best) and drops to the low 10s .... i understand my t40001 draws 400+ amps of current but i dont think the voltage drop should be that bad (drops like that within 3-4 seconds) ... i am pretty sure the battery is good ... i only have the front battery in right now but i dont believe the voltage drop should be that bad ... could it be my belt even though i have a tensioner spring? ... the pully is considerably smaller than the stock one

alternator problem?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i got the readings at advance today ... the code says ignition coil a,b,c,e,f,g, and h primary secondary ckt is it possible that these are not bad and the check engine light went on when the voltage dropped? ... i reset the system and all seems to be well (no check engine light) -

so i have narrowed it down to the re audio sx and mx ... i made up my mind and i will not be putting more than 1 saz4500 to these ... which would be the best choice ... i really like the looks of the re mx but obviously that is not as important as performance ... i want a hybrid between output and sound quality ... which would you choose?

alternator problem?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
it will not shake with the music off ... i remember it did it slightly with my stock alternator and my bxi2006 but no where near as bad -
alternator problem?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
i should note that the music was playing techno ... my voltage drops were not that bad ... maybe to 12.8 .... i had my subwoofer set on -6 and i have it tuned at 0 on the deck so it is not seeing more than 2000w -
alternator problem?
Lucky 76 replied to Lucky 76's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
k so today i noticed that when at a constant rpm my car will start chopping and shaking with the music on ... is this also a cause of the battery ... i just want to make sure before i go buy some batteries and then come to find out that that is not even the problem -
