    cancelation?

As it stands right now I have a mid in the door and in the kick and then a tweeter in the door and in the kick. I was going to change the tweeters in the door to the dash. But if a 3 way or something else is a better choice I will do that since I did not use these speakers yet.

    cancelation?

Scratch what i said. How would you approach the situation? I need the loudest I can get but I do want it to sound clean and decent. Would a 3 way setup be better for what I am after? If so what would you suggest I buy as far as size speakers and which ones. I have enough mounting depth in my door and can most likely fit an 8" in there. For the kickers I have a 6 1/2" cutout but I can always put a plate over that and seal it off. I can also seal the tweeter hole if needed in the kick and mount a horn tweeter on the dash.

In the back I figured we would hide the batteries in what would look like a bench. Above the bench we can have the 2 3500s next to each other, then the 100.4 below them in the middle and then the 50.4 directly under the 100.4. I will draw up a picture in paint tomorrow at work since my mac does not have paint =( The baffle height we should go 41.25 to be on the safe side. The box would be 4" from the back seat. That is reclined to my comfort position so if needed I can pull my seat up. The width starts to shrink at 23". All of these measurements have been taken with the front floor plate going over the transmission bump in the middle of my vehichle. Thanks again shawn!

Well the front was with the expanding foam. Its not exact . The back is kinda 3d and that is supposed to be the hatch ending lol. I'll have the measurements in 10 mins.

    grounding ?

I figured that would be best but didnt know if the grounding distance would play a large factor. Grounding distance is actually 5 and 10 not 5 and 8.
  8. I am putting in 3 external batteries in the back of my suv. The batteries are obviously going to be grounded to the chasis. I have been confused on whether it would be better to ground the amps to the chasis as well or if it would be better to run the ground to the batteries. The batteries are each going to have 2 runs of 1/0 to the chasis. Which is a better idea?

    how to get louder?

x2 - Without a mic you cant test anything. Did you try flipping the subs towards the cabin? If so did you flip down the seats? Basically anything you do to decrease the volume of your vehichle will help. That is why flipping the subs toward you would be great because you could seal off the trunk and get rid of all that extra volume in there. You can also flip down the sunvisors etc. You need to play around with opening doors and closing doors as well as windows.

    RTA?

Alright. I get what you are saying. The RTA is useless to me unless I plan on doing a SQ competition. Other than that it is pointless because it will most likely sound like crap to me even though it was probably intended to sound like that. I guess it would be better without because everyone has different preferences in the way that they listen to music. Some people like to hear symbols and whatnot while others like to hear more drumpedal notes.

    grounding ?

What do you mean by cleaner connection? I planned on grounding as many grounds to one spot as i could. Does this mean it would be better for me to run the ground to the battery? If I were to run the ground to the battery the distance would only be like 5 ft versus 8 ft. The ground to battey would be 3 ft.

This is somewhat what I would like the front of the wall to look like if possible.

This is what I want the back hatch to look like when it is all done. The batteries will go in that bottom piece that looks like a box. That will also be a bench to sit on if for some reason I have more than one passenger. The blue piece is my electronic crossover and the black and silver boxes are the sundown amps. Criticism please.

I have to come up with a list that will describe the order in which I am going to approach this build. Tell me how this sounds. I already have the front speaker wires ran but I decided I am going to go active so I need to run a second strand to both sides. I am running new RCAs because I do not like the ones I have now. I am installing a new radio because the one I have is outdated. I also have not ordered any subwoofers yet or subwoofer amps. To start off with I will: Run the second strand of speaker wire to each front side Install new radio Run RCAs to back of car Run all my grounds since they will be near impossible to get to aftrer the wall is built Run wire to designated areas for the LEDs because they will be near impossible to run after wall is built Build Wall Paint Wall Install Subs Install Amps and Batteries Mount Electronic Crossover Might have to run a tube inside the port for a fog machine where ultraviolet LEDs will be shinning out of the port =) Tell me what you think and let me know if I should change anything

Nitrotech is by far the worst tasting protein I have ever tasted. I get so many of their sampler packets that I just throw them away. People that I lift with do not even want them because of how disgusting it tastes. It is incredibly expensive and tastes terrible. Great results are to be gained through it though. Wow thats a first for me. Maybe they have fallen off since the last time I used it but strawberry was the shit! Expensive?...hell yes. Horrible tasting?...well I guess we'll agree to disagree. Never tried the strawberry. The chocolate made me want to gag.

  17. Which sounds like a better idea to you. I am in need of a new double din gps radio and i also plan on going active. Here are the choices I can either get the new kenwood dnx9140 sax 100.4 for mids sax 100.4 for highs (will be mostly tuned down since the tweeters will not be able to take 160+ watts of power as they are 2 ohm) i would need to use the crossovers on the amp or the new kenwood dnx7140 rockford fosgate 3sixty.2 (used as the crossover) sax 100.4 for mids sax 50.4 for highs both cost the same or if you feel that there is something better that i should get please let me know

Ya. I have to buy a mic that I can use on my dmm. I might just buy the epicenter with the db meter on it. I know its not great but it should get the job done just for tuning purposes.

This is directly from Aaron - "We prefer them in the 6.25 - 7.125 for most installs". I will ask him about tuning frequency tonight. Also I would like to adjust it for spl setup when I compete so I would like to do something like you did (adjustable/removable port).

I forgot we are talking audio terms here. By crap i mean i do not want it to sound muddy and sloppy. I just want it to hit the notes I throw at it below 63 or so hZ

My weight training progress so far

You should incorporate legs into your workout. This is essential if you want to look proportionate as well as increase your upperbody strength believe it or not. If you just want to look good and get cut up may i suggest buying The Encyclopedia of Modern Body Building by Arnold Schwartzenager. This book gives you virtually every exercise in the world and also gives you beginner, advanced, and expert training routines. It tells you how to eat and what to eat. The best book out there if you want to get informed. There are some drawbacks to the book since there are about 150 pages of bodybuilders in speedos lmao!

Also I would like to make the box as big as possible without making it sound like crap. I do not want it to be for spl but daily. I understand that I will be able to tune the port but I do not know how much of a factor box size will play in how good the sub will sound.
