kenwood sucks all but there in dash i got the excelon x10-d there is no way it is putting out 600 rms at 14.4 there way over rated in power. a little on the cleaner side compare to power acoustik spl and the likes it's putting out closer to 400 rms at 1 and 2 ohm not 600. btw the Memphis is good so is rock ford i see ssa got some zeff made or designed clarions or some thing like it forgot what he said those are low cost and good out put you would be better off with a real true power amp like said. btw not zed audio god i would bend over back words for those. -
don't know how your going to do it. the box would have to be 6 cuft and no way you fit that much in a center console. this is if you want them to play right. i have a hard time fitting 2.5 cuft in my Taurus trunk. and the sealed is close to them mite be able to fit the ignite series in a sealed box 10 inch times 4. sorry but this is more then likely why your not getting replies to this post. unless you like my mom stuffing ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag this makes garbage night a pleasure. lol's

best 1500 rms amp for the money
sadistic replied to loondizie52's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Our distro has the BPX500.1, and it is giving me the itch to add it to the collection. seen some crown's a wile ago on e bay for cheap now all they got is the gto's 1400.1. as for pa there junk there boards are junk there under powered and there solder jobs are half a$$ed. best thing you could do for that pa is put it out of it misery of being a pa product. and bridge it ona low ohm sub "suicide's fast but liquor is quicker" -
I work on xbox360s and let me tell u this- If the board gets to the point to where it requires the use of a heat gun just to get it working again, it wont last long.. if it reaches a month, that might be a record! Single red ring is usually an indicator to go buy the new ones so you are not proned to hardware failure. Very few single red rings can be fixed. Most all 3 red rings can be fixed. NO fix will last forever. Forever meaning forever, 2 yrs is not considered forever in my book. I do sell "preventive failure" cooling solutions but i do tell the customers who owns them that this helps but depending on your gaming habits and how the console is sitting, nothing can prevent imminent failure. i am currently researching ways to modify the entire internal structure so i can pull the drive out of the case and use all that extra space as a massive cooling base. I am trying to keep this modification under $100 so it seems appealing. your right but awesome to hear on the cooling upgrade.

i thinking your running a big set up like a fosgate power 1000x1 which is like 1400 true watts with that much power you can crack solder from a pc board like in side your cd player this is why they do not suggest mounting amps to boxes etc... if you lost ground because of this you could solder the board back to gather with a heat gun. seen people do this with the xbox 360 and the red ring of death. but be careful not to burn the board. that would really suck.
-
could he have lost ground inside the cd player to the rca's??? if the others do not fly.
-
r-u thinking noise in the shielding for the rca. i was thinking the deck was cutting in and out sound's right if it worked.
-
they most likely are with the great people on here. but a lose wire can do the same thing on the circuits i said measure with a dmm in volt mode and try to get the power to cut out as if doing it the way you did it before.
-
same thing yellow is "hot" at all time for memory red ignition is switched 12 volts for power so if you loose your presets like bass treble etc... it's memory related if it power related check the fuse block and wire to the bat ignition etc...

correct me if wrong wire color code for most factory hu you will need a service manual to find the factory wires yellow = memory red =+12v
-
but do not forget is it memory that is effected or is it 12 volt that is effected i would look at those two circuits very carefully. if it power is lost if it come back on after a couple second that would be more like main power if memory is not effected. could be a loose wire in the dash or all they way to the fuse block or in the radio itself because of being hit by spl notes.
-
It happens on disks, Aux input, the radio, everything. It is not a CD player problem... It isn't noise, it is more like the entire radio is just randomly cutting out how much bass do you guys need lol's is it only when turning? if so i have blown dash lights at night from a bass hit to the bulb i wonder if you radio is shook loose a small part in side
-
after fianly seeing the video it maybe possessed by a evil spirit lol's it making the same sound as if skipping threw the song. i wonder if your button worn out from using it to much do you use a remote?
-
you must have power assists steering. it a motor and motor can cause noise on some cars like my Taurus it has a radio capacitor on the ignition to keep out ignition noise i bet there is some little cap that could be affecting this. or also i seen in the newer rangers the cd player will slope back from not being mounted right and not be at perfect 90degree flat and the disk will wobble and kinda a rubbing noise like described is made.

Crossover Or Equalizer ?

That won't help at all. Those aren't worth buying. just wondering why not? it sounds like the guy want's to run a active set up. i know the q logic's are a little on the cheap side but spending 10 -15 hour making it paint quality fiber glass to put in the same spot. just seems worth less to kick with feet in a daily driver. unless he carpets the boxes or some thing like it. So pay $200 and spend hours making them rigid enough. Then still need airspace and have to vent into the fender all for kicks that aren't aimed all that well? The doors look super easy in his ride and IB > cramped when it comes to drivers that need to play midbass. your right up the ally of what i am thinking. don't know if he is willing to lose the center console or not you mite be able to put two L7's or L5's 8 inches in the center console spot. you build a box that is the correct size then you put the ski's on like a Christmas sled mount them to the side's of the box i seen it in a issue of sport truck or mini trucking or some thing like it they even did a padded arm rest above the back sub. with those two 8's you can run them in a 3 way active type set up with that eq i suggested. i think you will need a 4 channel and a two or 3 two channels. because you will have mid tweets and bass on all those amps the reason i suggest doing this way is you got a nice truck good subs in the back and you need a lot more mid bass. why do it half A$$ed when you should do it right. and make the truck sound right so tune the 8 a little higher for a mid bass type of kick. i would hate to see it half a$$ if you can fiber glass in the 6.5's some thing like march5audio mli's and just buy some high powered tweets from some were. those kick panel boxes like the guy is saying are A$$. if you need me to try to find that article on the box i described i can it came out very sweet. -
this is were the formula is from and and has a little more info on it at link http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=165

http://www.ecalc.com/calculator/scientific/ use this calculator at link above square root key look like a check with a x inside powers of ten key looks like a y to the power of x av =10 lv=30 vb=864 do the this part first av(1.84x10to the power of key looks like y sub x when the calculator does the y to the power of x key it will put some thing that looks like a up side down carrot. Then write the answer to all of the above down Next do vb(lv+.823then hit the square root key put in av then write the answer down Take the first answer and divided buy the second one Then take and put in to the calculator .159 square root of the answer of the two this should equal 40.63716007346 hertz for the fb Just remember you can plug any thing you want into av or lv or vb that the plug part Av =a 2 inch by 10 inch wxh or area of vent Lv = length of vent Vb = volume of box just try to keep the area of the vent less then a 9 :1 just divide like a 10 by 5 inch port in to this 5/5 and how many section of ten you get and 10 /10 and how many section of 5 you get this would equal 1x10inch and one 1x5 inch the 1x5 would pass but the 10x1 would not it to big here are some other formulas pie times radius squared radius is half of a circle and this trans forms a round to a square vent real quickly square root of

hay bromo i get 2.19 at 34.5 hz lol's i think the 2.11 was a typo just say some thing if it is not. it not worth learning unless you learn it. i used a port that was 1.5 x 13 x 20 it came out to be 31.84 hz it close enough to be right on the money because of rounding here and there in the same box out side dia 33.5x14.5x12 inside dia is 32x13x10.5 divide by 1728 give aprox 2.53 cuft minus sub .16 displacement and port displacement of .186 equals 2.19 cuft . if you play a good test tune threw it it will fell like it's correct. tuned right at 32 seen a few manufacture's tune lower because it sounds better and they round up to the first ones place.

they go up to a 6.5 so mli's mite be a possibility i did not check the mounting depth or not sure if it's the right truck or not. http://www.qlogicfactoryoutlet.com/index.p...71765564fbdee39
