So would that be a defect or user error?

I have a powerbass xs15d2 and I've been hearing a rattle. So I inspect the sub and the basket is loose from the upper plate. This would be a defect not user error correct? Also the sub still plays fine and don't rattle while playing music parked but only rattles when I hit a bump or dip in the road. Should I use it till it get replaced? Any suggestion are appreciated.

I have the same question. Are they true 2ohm because when I used my dmm and measured each coil out of box I was getting 2.6ohm and 2.8ohm. When I wire 2 subs up to .5ohm I got a reading .67ohm which would be great for my amps.

Powerbass xs15dv2 4.834gross volume 3.997net volume 63.375 sq inches of port (3h x 21.125w) 22.854 port lenght tuned to 38hz powered by orion 1200d @ 1ohm Are my calculations correct? If so do you think that is enough port area? 4.834gross 4.459net 42.245 sq inches of port (2h x 21.125w) 15.344 porth lenght tuned to 35hz Which one would you chose?

What competition assocation do you prefer???
luvofmusic replied to Aaron Clinton's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
Only shows around here are db drag and usaci. I like db drag because of bass race and the shows just seem more fun. The only thing I don't like is that you do need some money to really be competitive because it is based on subs and how many amps not power so someone with 4000watts & 2 12's might go up agianst someone with 2 12's and 1200watts. But I do like usaci because it based on power @ 4ohm rating and amount of amps. -
Thanks for the number. If no one post specs I will give them a call.

First post, anyway I bought 4 Powerbase pb1554's and I was wondering if anyone had t/s parameters and ported enclosure recommendations. I looked on powerbass website but didn't find all t/s or ported rec. Thanks in advance.
