Ok so I was thinking about purchasing the 200amp alt before the PowerMaster and hooking up the Optima in the trunk and putting a stock wet cell battery back under the hood. However I've read on a few posts that its best not to mix wet and dry cell batteries. With that said I know of quite a few people who run wet and dry together and never heard of any problems from them. Is it true that wet and dry shouldn't be mixed?

I have looked into Shuriken batteries I know they are rebranded Kinetiks I would buy one if they had the bigger HC3800 size. I had not heard of PowerSurge, those are some massive batteries for sure I sent them a email for price quote on there 2 biggest models. Batcaps, I've heard alot of negative comments about them in the past so I didn't look into them much and I don't know where to purchase them. I did think about deka and I do think they would be a good choice to have a couple of them intead of just 1 bigger battery however the rules for the class I'll be running in the bass comps in my area require only 2 batteries one up front on one in the back. As of now I'm planing on the PowerMaster unless the PowerSurges are a great deal. Thanks for all the opinions/suggestions.

Nice truck! Yeah I figured they would be around $500. I sent an email to Ascendant Audio for a quote. I think you sold me on them, thanks!

Both the Fi and the DC lvl5 are rated for 2000 rms to 4000 max. The Nightshade is I believe 1500 rms 3000 max. Yeah I'm sure your right that the nightshade could work out ok with the gain down but I'm looking to get the most out of the amp so I would perfer something rated a little higher.

Thats great news and bad news since I've had to dip into my amp fund some to pay bills... Hope I don't miss out on getting one..... =(

Thanks for the reply. So just to be clear if I was to order dual 1 ohm it would be optimized for dual 1 ohm only, but if I order dual 2 it will be optimized for 2 ohm but still accepts 1 ohm not optimized?

Hello, I'm planing on purchasing a BTL 15 or 18 depending on what I decide will fit best in the trunk of my 2001 Honda Accord coupe. I will be getting a Sundown 3500D to power it. I plan to get my BTL in the dual 2 ohm config so I can run it at 1 ohm. My question is about the Universal option, I most likely will be fine with the dual 2 ohm config for as long as I'm using the sub however I figured I'd go ahead and get the Universal option just in case. But then I read this: "If you do not choose this option your motor(s) will be optimized per the coil resistance that you have chosen." So with it being optimized for dual 2 ohm make it perform better than being universal? Thanks.

Just a heads up these links are no longer working.

I have a freind that claims to be a Team Sundown member who says he can get a SAZ-10000d. I told him I've been reading the forums and the newest amp your working on is the SAZ-4500d and he must be confussed. He was drunk at the time and wouldn't listen to me. So my question is, are you really working on a SAZ-10000d or is he just a drunk idiot?

Thanks Jacob, I'll be sure to set him straight.

Do you currently expect to have plenty 3500d's for the pre-order? I'm asking cause I would prefer to wait till close to the end of the pre-order to order one say beginning of august? However I wouldn't want to risk not getting one.

Thinking about purchasing one of the refurbished 3000d or I may get in on the pre-order for the 3500d. My question is regarding the warranty on the refurbished one. I see on the dB-r site that I will get a "1 Year Warranty from dB-r Electronics" but I'm wanting to know if I will get the 5-year discounted replacement policy you also offer on new amplifiers?
