I was just making sure ill be able to knock with 1500 per sub since I mostly read "put 2200 on them." Now my question is since u say "maybe an hdc is not for me" what do you mean?

I want to efficiently run these md2ds and knock the block. I want to actually understand what I'm doing before I enter comps. I picked AQ because of price and can handle the wattage but haven't bought them yet.

Well I'm trying to understand this, this time around. And I got a new pc now, so idk.

I keep reading topics where people say hdc's really perform after u put a 2200 on it. I got two md2ds and was going to put one on each sub. 1500 a piece. But if they won't perform until 2200 should I still consider these? If not what's a better choice? DC lvl 4xl? Xcon?

Bump for any help, this is what i got, AQ suggests 3.0-4.5cuft per one 15in woofer or 6.0-9.0cuft for two. i came up with a box 37in wide x 16in high x 26in deep, this gives me 8.9cuft and would still fit through the opening of the trunk. am i right or wrong? i think im right but i dont understand port size and how to figure a good hz to tune it to, any help here?

so i accidently deleted the files i had concerning my box design and since i cant find the guy who did it the first time i need you guys' help. this box is for two hdc3 15's and its going in a 99 altima. dimensions are as follows: the only other things i remember about the design was he said it was going to have external aero ports. i hope there is a way to build this without having to use that method but if not oh well. and he said it would sound best subs up and ports back. i also have to md2ds that i was hoping to mount on the sides of the box. so can yall help me.....?
