Not doubting you but I damn sure would love to see you fit 4-15"s with the appropriate box size in the trunk of a Saturn without choking your subs in a too small box because I could barely put 3-12"s in my car and had to sacrifice port area. Cant help you with the latch prob but I would love to see 4 15's in the trunk of a Saturn. Even sealed would be about 8 cuft but with 4 15's Im guessing you want all the output you can get.

Lookin to start off big huh? Ive gone through a lot of systems and subs and Im just getting into something as nice as the BTL. If you dont know already you are venturing into a high spl sub, pretty crazy choice for your first system and install. If you must then you can order those from ficaraudio.com If I was just starting my first system and I liked a lot of bass, I would start small especially if Im installing it myself. The SSA store is a good place to start. A couple of 10" or 12" icons or dcons and an saz1000 would be good.

I don't think you will need extra processing on the low notes with your setup! 4 Icons, or 4 Xcon 18's will give you more than enough, at low lovels, at high levels even more!!!!!!!!!!! Don't you all think so?! Yes. I can imagine 4 18" Xcons will be fine with the proper electrical. Ive seen your build log and it looks like you are on the right track. Hook up the xcons first, see how it sounds and go from there.

4 18 BTL's and 10000 watts doesnt sound anything like sq. I dont know much but I know that. Maybe you just got those two words mixed up? No I don't have it mixed up. I've had big system before and they have to sound like crap. But I think we are missing the subject. What is the opt. Size enclosure for these subs. OK well then go with what FI says. About 5-10 cuft at around 32hz for daily if I remember correctly.. I see most people putting them in 7-8 cuft. But 10000 watts doesnt sound like daily so probably tune higher in the 40's or 50's. Ok, thanks. I think I'll try 6cu. Per woofer tuned at@ 26hz. I'll be firing the woofer and port upward in a 92 suburban. What's your thuoghts? Are you doing this for competition? If you are I dont think tuning that low will get you very good numbers. If its for daily (which is gonna be LOUD) its recommended to tune in the low 30's. Ive seen port and sub up before and it seems like it works fine but most of what I see is sub up and port back.

So I switched the 50.4 and the 125.2 around today. The 50.4 sounds even better on my 6x9's. This is the best they have sounded so far switching through 4 amps. I cant imagine it will overheat anymore cause I also put my seat down again and the air will flow right over it. The sub doesnt sound as loud as it did before but it has less power now so go figure. Not worried about it though as my new Z15 will be coming soon to replace the polkmomos and I will go back to using a class d amp. Cant wait for that somma bitch to get here!

Well I just bought 2 of them last night and a 30 sqft package of damplifier lite. Dont know how far I will go with the doors so I just bought a little to check it out. I'll try one in each door for now and go from there. I cant wait to see how they sound!

x2. I like to super set my shrugs. They will build traps like nobodys business. I did them with the smith machine straight up and down. Then some dumbells palms in. Straight to the cables from the floor. A few steps back with arms in front then arms behind. For the neck, its a little unorthodox but a 5-10lb plate on your forehead with a towel in between. Lie flat on the bench with your head hanging over and lift your neck up and down. Its weird for some but works.

Holy shit! This has got to be some of the funniest stuff Ive read here yet! My favorite is the guy doing bench 3-4 times a week and he is doing the same exact workout everytime. Just plain ole flat back. No variation whatsoever for like 3 months...till he gets hurt. And the screamers. I call them the screamin eagles. Or d-bags for short. Its usually just 2 or 3 guys that all have headphones on and yell at each other because their deathmetal is blaring in their domes. Not that I dont like a little Slipknot or Pantera while Im lifting myself but shit man...get a clue. And the worst. The guy who sweats all over the machines with no towel in sight. Then procedes to sweat on the drinking fountain as well. Phuck man! Its ridiculous.

I've seen the 125.2 combo with an icon or dcon on the ssa site so that's why I thought it might work.

I have it bridged to each vc seperately @ 4 ohm. I put my seat back up to have more room and shortened the amp board to fit it behind the seat. Would have to reconfigure setup again to use monoblock due to space restrictions. Would it be better to use the 1 channel to each vc from the 125.2 to the sub and bridge the 50.4 the 6x9s? Its not a permanent solution but temporary cause I need tunes for a 3 hour ride.
