shit 32" for 244 seems good, i dont know shit about tv's but im getting a little 23" lcd computer monitor for $200... idk if i could fit a 32 on my desk tho.. I thought it was a good price no matter what the brand. I figure on going by there after hitting up my other stores but I cant imagine there will be one left after 60 mins.

Put them in a box and lets hear it. Only one way to find out.

And BL's are on sale for black friday, free cooling + flatwind option ($60 value) Well im not tryna spend over $800, The box is gunna run me around 200... Either way, 12 or 15. Im not dead set on a 12, But goin with a 15 is gunna cost a couple hundred more. Anyway that would leave me with about 600 for a sub and amp. I can get a SA12 for $220 shipped, But Idk if thats the right sub for me. Id love some RD alphas but cant find any decent prices on those. And I could damn near get 2 lethal injections for the price of a BL. But no I havent taken out the 6x9's in the rear deck... Im sure I'll have to if I wanna get sound in the cabin tho. I'll take the armrest out n all that if I have to. Guess well see Well you can cut some money off the box if you build it yourself. You can use that $200 for materials and tools and learn how to make them. Its quite fun and will save you a ton of money in the long run. You can even return the tools (like Home Depot) when you are finished with the box. I did that a couple times. Then you are only out money for the saw blade, wood, glue, screws, caulking, sandpaper, woodfiller, primer, and paint. Which is only about $60-70 and most of that will have leftovers or will still be usable for the next time.

Thank you bigfrank for the Alternator sites. I am planning on building a 5 cubic foot ported box. For the subwoofer placement would you guys recommend facing it towards the cabin of the vehicle or facing it backwards toward the license plate or maybe even upward? I currently have a 1999 Nissan Maxima but I may be getting a SUV around Christmas. No problem. Driver placement is totally different in each vehicle. You just have to see what sounds best to you. Hope for an SUV for Christmas as you will love the BTL in there!

Last time I checked Audiobahn sold the company to some mexican firm. It wasnt that good to start with and the headquarters moved over the border but they do look cool...I like the flames...ya...cool

So how good of a deal is the 32" LCD HDTV at Frys for $244? Or the 26" LCD HDTV with built in dvd player? The only thing is they dont tell you what brand or how many they have. I drove by Frys here tonight at 8:30pm pac and there was already like 30-50 people outside. They also have a 10mp dig camera from samsung for $49. If I can get any of them, i think I will.

Thats nice to say but its hardly anything, I know. I split my time between both rides and as of lately its a little to cold to work on them. Need to get back on it. More deadening! i will have to look up what part of CA. you live in before i accept it is a little too cold, lol. I knew someone was going to call me on that! These west coast temperatures arent shit compared to what you midwestern boys get, I know. Hell it doesnt even snow (close to Sac) here. Not even close. Ever. I do need to get on the goodfoot and get these projects done! Thats it, no more procrastinating!

That wasnt too smart. Are you planning to do this with the audobahn too? I wouldnt buy that. I doubt that it will do the rated power. What is your budget fro this amp?

Here are a few great companies to start with. They might be a little pricey but are well worth it. You can search countless threads where someone rebuilt theirs or bought from a lesser known brand and was not satisfied. http://www.dcpowerinc.com/ http://www.mechman.com/ http://www.ohiogen.com/ http://stores.ebay.com/Iraggi-Alternator-and-Electronics

Now thats my kinda turkey! A greasemonkeys idea of course. At least the chain is clean! LOL.

Well, it can work because it is inside the ported enclosure specs. But 6ft3 is almost the minimum. I would build it larger but if thats all the room you have, then try it out.

Voice coils wired in parallel will give you a 1 ohm load with a dual 2 ohm driver. I would do all the big 3 in 1/0 wire. Lots of people use welding cable also as it is a bit cheaper and works just as well. You should do the big 3 now so when you install the h/o alt, you can guage the difference of voltage drops at high volumes. Do you have a h/o alt already picked out? Btw, welcome dude.

You should pm Jay Cee. He has Eminence Alpha for sale right now.

Hna. Not use to those part numbers I guess. I see now.

We could do a great deal to help you further with a budget. Have you taken out the speakers in the rear deck yet?
