Yes Im going active. Using the SAX100.4 with the 6.5s on channel 1&2 and the tweeters on channels 3&4. Going to try and cross the mids around 40-50ish. A little more speaker wire, which should be here on Mon or Tues, and I should be ready for installing the panels.

I can only speak for Mechman as I never used DB Electrical. My alt has never given me a problem since the moment I installed it. Got it on sale with one year "anything goes" replacement warranty for $360. Very happy with it.

You will have to flip flop some numbers to get them exactly right. 25hz sounds pretty low to me. A wider port is a good idea as well because 1.5" is a little slim also. I would go about 2-3" on the port width. The enclosure will look really funny and Im not even sure the shape is very optimal. Its possible but... Have you ever thought about glassing to get maximum volume from your trunk?

You say this has happened before, right? What did you do then about the problem?

any idea how long were talkin? cuz i got bout 47inches to work with Try plugging in some numbers with this. RE calc. Its not going to be exact and it leaves out the driver displacement but it will give you a good idea of how large it needs to be. Its probably going to be over three feet long.

Why didnt you just get the Bl or BTL from the get go if you are looking for more output?

The same Choas series? 12" and no i actually found a earthquake subzero sbwoofer for 200 Subzero Subwoofers this is a link of it. it has a mounting depth of 7 1/2 Im not able to enter the subzero catagory. I cant see the specs.

That seems a liitle high for the tuning. Maybe a little small for the enclosure as well. Sometimes the specs for mainstream drivers arent always the only way to go.

Instead of going out and spending a bunch of money on a new driver, get a new enclosure for the W7 first. Try building it yourself as you will save a ton of money. Its really not that hard.

Thats a bad ass amp for all the flexibility features.

Thats not a trunk. Sounds like a couple shoeboxes. If thats all the room you have, it will be tough.

Will you be entering the SQ comp or just visiting? Id love to enter an spl comp if they were going to have one but they arent.
