So are we going to see some pics of the install? That is a killer job you did on that enclosure! The paint is pretty fly too.

Like the other guys have said, bracing is usually needed on the large panels of MDF that are susceptible to flex. You can use wood, metal, or whatever is dense. The larger the enclosure, the more bracing needed. 45s are for the air flow, period. The corner of an enclosure, if built properly, is extremely rigid.

UPS and Fedex just keep coming and coming > : )

Noooo. You NEED 1/0 wire for the 1200D. Can we see the asses on those SSDs? Are they the new models as well? Nice products dude. -
Damn, dude! That looks like some pricey shit youve had over the years huh? All JL Audio? Nice setups. This new build will be sweet. Keep the pics comin!

I would take it out once the mold cures if I were you. Thats shit stinks and you might want it out of there asap. Plus it will be easier to work with that way. I was fiberglassing in my garage with the doors shut cause it was so cold during the construction of my door pods in my truck. Dont do that!!!

I also say to at least try building the enclosure yourself. I built my first slot ported enclosure for an 18" BTL from some calcs online a few months ago. Granted the numbers were slightly off from what I thought they were but...it still hammers! Thats a nice list of products and good luck with the install! -
Technology doesnt fly that fast, huh? The BTL is already out done?! I seriously doubt that as well. Much cheaper than many, many companies for such a QUALITY product. Its hard to beat the price AND performance of a BTL!

Lookin good so far dude. For the bubbles, use a bubble buster. It is a small roller with knobs on it to pop the bubbles. You cand find them in your local plastic/fg store. Try Tap Plastics. For the bulges, you just have to smash them down and make sure there is plenty of resin on it as well. The tape can be bitch to take off but the blue painters tape is much easier. Dont use the cheapest masking tape you can find because you will be pissed in the end. Keep up the good work man!

It most likely will be choked in that trunk. Look into the 15 perhaps. Are you putting the amps, batts, etc in the trunk as well? You will have to account for more room for those items as well.
-
How much are they? $899 or some shit? I got to hear this new driver by...you know his name fellas. 3500 rms too? Nice.

Thanks Chop. Im supposed to be at the show today but I couldnt find any temp batts to keep my voltage a little higher for a bassrace so...after testing songs at idle and revved for bassrace...it was a no go. I can beat around town while driving just fine but not for extended amounts of time. Let alone 30 seconds for a bassrace. Im really diggin for a h/o alt soon too! I was thinking about what kryptonite white did with his IB van log and liquid nails those basters shut. I thought I should tint them first though. Any other non-permanent ideas? Unfortunately it is. Doing a lot better than I expected though. Im sure its only like 50-75 amps tops. Id like to get a h/o alty soon. I'll roll with the autolite until I can find some more. The truck did very, very well on voltage with only one battery so im hoping I wont need batts too soon. Just anxious to give it a real test drive! I know. We are slacking! Ive recently gotton in a relationship and hit up facebook so Ive been kinda busy to say the least. Believe me...it dances in my head daily! You can bet on that! Women and Facebook have taken up waaay too much of my time lately. Im turning that around slightly to make more time for my SSA buds! Ive missed a lot of sweet ass build logs recently. Its time to play catch up!

DC Power or Mechman. Dont forget Iraggi. His store is on ebay.

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a quality alternator. You will be glad you did later.
-
That is a great amp and will power those speakers just fine. Very underrated. Awesome customer service...flat out, the best!

Have you asked anyone to custom build it for you to what you need? Try Iraggi on ebay. Contact him and ask how large he can build it for you. Cant hurt to ask. -

Good shit man. Those drivers look pretty sweet dude. Nice setup. -
I hope this enclosure is WELL worth it from the amount of time its taking...
-
1 watt will be enough to make it play. The 1500D or the 2000D is great for a BTL.

Hes in Florida. How east are you talkin?
