    XCON 12" help!!!

With it being right on the edge will I miss out on the lows? Also would I be better off going with the FI Q due to box size? Also will there be a huge difference with the xcon over the q? I was told that the xcon will play higher and be alot louder.
  3. Hey guys would 1.2 cu ft sealed be alright to run this 12" xcon sub with 1540 watts rms?

    12" xcon or fi q

Mainly my goal is a loud ""SQL"" system for my daily driver wich is going into the trunk of the miata. I know not the best platform for sq however it is what I have to work with. The car is completly damplified out and the is holes coming from the trunk into the cabin behind the seats and behind the headrest that I put there to allow bass to reach the cabin. The front stage is hybrid audio clarus 62-1 components ran from a JL 300/2 amp. The box is 1.2 cu ft and is firing up towards the trunk lid.

Well I already have a custom box made and I perfer sealed myself. It is going in a trunk of a miata so the ported box sizes cant fit and yes I know that I am fighting a losing battle being in a convertible but it will have to do for now.

    12" xcon or fi q

Hello everyone I want to get your opinions on wich to go with. The sub will be in 1.25 sealed powered with 1500 watts. I listen to all music however lean more towards rap. Looking for a loud """SQL""" setup. Is there really that much difference between the two?

    FI Q wich size?

Yeah I am worried of how much of the lows I will miss. I am trying to get 1.0 before displacment wich would help before the polyfill is added. Do you think the 10 would play better with a .9 cubic feet box or the 12?

    FI Q wich size?

I have 1.0 cubic feet before displacement and it is a sealed box. I am wondering will I be able to get a 12" in there with adding polyfill and make it sound good or should I stick with the 10". I will have a sundown sae1000d powering either one.
