lights dimming After my Oz Audio

thanks for all the help guys, well i went to O'Reilly Auto Parts today and they did a test on my alternator and my battery...and it turns out that my alternator is only putting 30 Amps while idling that is terrible...looks like im gonna have to buy a new alternator .... Ive even checked my self...with my system completely off i was sitting at a stoplight today flipped on my air just to see what it would do and my voltage which is just a rough estimate according to my pioneer head unit went from 12.5V to 10.7V...i cant even get 14.4 while driving with nothing on at all the highest i could manage was 12.5 Volts... And to make things worse, the cheapest high output alternator that i can find is around $425 for my car And even just a normal alternator is $225 or over i don't feel like spending that much on a 110 amp stock alternator...when i can get a high output that is around 250 amps for about double that. The only problem is i don't have $425 plus shipping to put out on an alternator right now that's a lot of money. Here is my bad luck kicking in...lol -
lights dimming After my Oz Audio

Anyway all i have right now is a Soundstream XTA600.2 600 Watts RMS and my Oz Audio Matrix Elite 15 and its dimming even with that. I have been looking around and i cant find that many alternators for my car i had been recommended to call ohiogen to ask? my lights have been dimming when idling especially when the air is on at the same time, i have a 1995 dodge stealth and they alternators are weak on them and i believe i even have the upgraded 140 amp ......it could be the 110 amp thought im not sure, but i was told that i couldn't go past a 140 amp that it probably cant be wound more than that.... I saw this by powerbastards http://powerbastards.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Fitzall-220 It is supposed to put out 220 Amps at 1200 RPM Is it any good?...or should i get a Kenetic Battery first i have heard that might help and i can get them at a good price And actually i forgot to mention if im idling and i have the air on with my music the voltage will drop from about 14 volts to 11.5 -
this company any good

thanks, actually the battery and the alternator both have been replaced in the last couple of years so im not exactly sure what it is, i might have to go get it checked because i looked today..i don't even have to have my system on, the battery drops from about 14 to 11.5 when i turn the air condition on by itself if im just idling... -

Anyone ever heard of a brand called Brand X?
reaudiofreak85 posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
ive been looking at these amps and i saw something about them in another forum i dont remember which one but by the fuse ratings these don't look like that bad of amps at all...ive only saw like 2 to 3 online stores that carry them so they must be fairly new Here is an 8000 Watt amp for $669 http://www.rickiesdiscountelectronics.com/...fier-21714.html and a 3 channel Class A/B & Class D Hybrid Amplifier for $499.99 http://www.rickiesdiscountelectronics.com/...fier-21716.html 2900 watt mono amp for 269.99 http://www.rickiesdiscountelectronics.com/...fier-21715.html These seem to be decent amps if you look at the fuses on them...it looks like they would do the power they say Anyone else heard of Brand X? I heard a rumor they were made by the makers of the old Autotek equipment before maxxonics bought them out -

i have to agree i dont like the look to well to be honest......i just wonder if they actually do what they are rated at...seems that they might by their fuse ratings No...... I doubt they ever will. they don't even give an RMS. some of them aren't that expensive, but for the price of the first 2 that i listed they better do rated power....lol, but ur probably right... I don't know why they chose that flashy look...Looks like they are trying to be Audiobahn or something -

Oz audio ME 15.2 Subwoofer am i being ripped off?
reaudiofreak85 posted a topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Ive posted about this subwoofer on a few other forums, well it took me a couple weeks to even get the guy to tell me the shipping and send me a paypal invoice, well he said the subwoofer was $250 for 1 Oz audio 15" ME15.2 ......which is a good price, but hes trying to charge me $55 to ship that seems to high to me even if he is insuring it and using their packaging...the reason is, is i just shipped 2 RE SE 15's UPS ground to a guy in the same state where he lives and it was only $38 dollars....and he is using UPS ground too. The subwoofer is brand new, but i saw them go for $200 new shipped on here before....i realize they used to sale for over $300 normally easily and these are great subs that being said there is no warranty since Oz isnt in business, What do u guys think am i being screwed or should i go ahead and pay him $305 shipped like he's asking... on the other hand i know how rare the dual 2 ohm version is, which is what i need... Any opinions would be greatly appreciated -

Unless you're going IB, then it is truly a nice deal on that one... Magical sub in IB alignment Thanks i thought it was a pretty good deal too, I had heard of Oz Audio for a long time and ive never heard anything but good things about them,The more i read about this subwoofer and the videos that ive seen of them the more im glad i got it besides that, The Dual 2 ohm version is extremely rare he's the only guy i even know who had it and i was pretty much lucky to find a brand new one as well...Im sure soon it will be hard to find any Oz Audio products -

appreciate it, sad to see them go out of business last year, but that seems to be the fate of every good car audio company lately -

i ended up getting the OZ Audio because i got him to go down to $290 shipped instead, which it could of still been less on the shipping, but that's not to bad -

Yep ive told him that i shipped two re se 15's for $38 bucks at the same distance ....so im waiting to see what he says...i have a feeling that since Paypal takes a chunk of his money hes trying to jack up the shipping charge to make up for it -
