Stinger HPM 1/0 all the way to the back. In the doors are Whip Audio 6.5s.They are incredibly loud and clear for an incredible price.Dynamatted the front doors around the speaker and inside the door behind the speaker. I also went ahead and sprayed the grilles Satin Black while I had the doors off to throw a little more black in the mix and it turned out pretty nice for being so simple.

Ascendant Audio 18s in THE Hoe

The X693 is awesome. It is an incredible piece for the price and it's features. You really couldn't ask for a whole lot more from a single din unit.I sold a ton of them when they first came out, even to people who didn't want to add a system, but just wanted something nice.It takes a little bit of time for the average person to get used to and find their way around, but overall it is pretty easy to use. Stay tuned. You won't be disappointed Box is subs back, port back.Port in the middle with both subs on each side of the port.Tuned to 31 Hz. Ha we'll see about upgrading to more power later. For now, this will be just fine.

little bit of a change since SBN this year...

Heyyyy saw this truck at Florida State Finals this past weekend.Wish I could have heard it play.Looked real clean from the outside though nevertheless.
  21. Sorry it took so long to reply.I'm having trouble with the settings on this website sending me an email whenever some one replies in a topic I have posted a message in.Frustrating..... Anyways that KDC-X692 is a real nice unit. Good, high voltage pre-outs and easy to use direct iPod control. Real nice CD quality playback too. Kenwood is also one of the only, maybe the only company, on the market that you can use your white USB iPod cable that came with your iPod and plug it in to the USB of the unit to get direct iPod playback and charging capabilities without having to buy the manufacturer's cable(saves you $20). America is in a recession, and I get questions like that everyday from customers. I DO NOT recommend Jensen OR Dual to anyone, for obvious reasons. As far as navigation goes, no doubt, you are going to save a couple hundred dollars. It honestly comes down to your personal preference. I always recommend that people save up to a point to get what they WANT, not what they will settle with. Anyone that knows me knows the saying "Buy what you want, not what you can afford.Cause if you buy what you can afford, you are going to end up going back and buying what you want later." That X692 you have now is a nice single-din piece, but if you are just dying to have a screen and can due without the navi, Kenwood has some NICE screens out for 09.Incredible picture quality.Pioneer's AVH-P4100DVD is one from Pioneer though that I wouldn't leave out for units with out Navigation.Super sleek design and lots of nice features.Good iPod control as well.I'd recommend just going through Kenwood's website and looking through their units and comparing them side by side. One thing I also want to say as far as navigation goes though is you can probably still get your hands on the DNX-8120 for relatively cheap, like the mid $750's.Only a year old and has all kinds of goodies.Just look around and hit me up with a PM if you have any further questions or any particular units.

    secondary battery

What are your limitations? If you just want a little more battery reserve, I would recommend a XS Power 3400 or 2700 in the back.Have you already replaced the factory battery in the stock location with an aftermarket one?
  23. I'd look into Kenwood. They have a DNX-6140 that is similar in style and features to the F90BT.Built in navigation by Garmin.Parrot Bluetooth.Direct iPod control.DVD feedback. Double Din 6.1" fixed screen, and a rear/sub switchable pre-out.If you are shopping on eBay the 6140 seems to be about $725 brand new.As far as a refurbished unit, if you are already putting in hundreds of dollars into a nice head unit, go ahead and by new and get the full warranty.Sure it may save you money, but think about how long you'll be sitting there punching yourself in the head when the unit goes out and the short term warranty is over.As far as looks, the 6140 is pretty sharp, but the F90 is pretty sleek as well, with the gloss finish on the face and the variable illumination. The 6140 has variable illumination as well.I've installed several of both and haven't really found too many peeves about the DNX-6140. I'm sure the F90BT is pretty impressive as far as sitting in your buddie's car and playing around with it from time to time, but as far as owning it and using it everyday there are a number of things that grow old.The F series seemed too good to be true in production, and was a trainwreck when released.Though the engineers and techs have come up with many updates to fix many of the problems, Pioneer has already released a whole new line to replace the F series.I hope this helps.Feel free to hit me up with any questions. Joe
