Back door I ALWAYS have people ask me questions about how I run the wire through the back doors on these GM vehicles with the harnesses in the door molex. It isn't anything complicated, but I figured this would help people out if they were wondering the same. This is not the ONLY way to do it while retaining the factory harness, I want to make that clear. You can also use a micro die grinder and bore out a spot were there are un-used pins.It just depends on how many wires you are running through and what size. -

If you've ever done work with the JL ZR components, you know what a pain in the *** it is to try and hide the GARGANTUAN crossovers. It's not a problem if you are doing an install where you aren't trying to hide them, but show them rather for cosmetic appeal, but that wasn't the case here.I still stashed them completely out of sight, but, again, they are a pain to work with. Finally got a client to rep some Ascendant Audio gear around town. It's a 2003 Chevy Tahoe total system overhaul.Should make for an extremely solid setup that is going to wail on the lows and sound good doing it. Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693

Thanks bud Yeah that and the full dust cap cone.Looks pretty sick when people hear it and ask what he has, go to the back, and all the people are like "DAYYYYYUMMMM" but don't even know what they are looking at haha.

Contact Brian on here, username BKOLFO4. Ascendant Audio dealer in Texas and can help you out.Extremely helpful guy; really knows his stuff and how to explain it.The box you see in this build was designed by him, and he answered every question I had for him, and you can ask him, I ask a LOT of questions.I owe him a HUGE shout out and thanks on this build. Just finished this one not too long ago in the build logs section.Figured I'd go ahead and throw the videos up here in case anyone missed it.Enjoy The roof flex on this thing is just retarded. You get a little idea from the second video, there is so much movement up there, inside and out.EVERYTHING flexes.Doors, windows, mirrors, tires, grille, haha EVERYTHING.
-
If you need any parts for that Tahoe let me know. One JUST like it with the same interior color and EVERYTHING rolled into the parts yard yesterday.
-
You honestly can't really hear any rattling inside.Just a whole lotta bass haha. But he does plan on having me dampen the entire thing. Lakeland.Like right slap dead in the middle of Florida, between Tampa and Orlando. Hey thanks.I sure think so
-
Haha glad to see you liked it.
-
I'll second that
-

Oh wow probably not haha.As much as it would probably be a fun trip, I'm from Florida and have way too much work on my hands, and the owner of the truck has summer classes in Tampa to attend during that time.Probably hit up some Florida shows though and will be at SBN 2011.

They are extremely loud and crisp.I have a video that will give you some kind of idea I'll post probably tomorrow. Where and when is that show? What's the best way you would recommend to contact him?

And I need some nice pricing on some Sundown equipment for another upcoming build See any solutions? Solution is to contact your favorite Sundown dealer in your area or the SSA Store! .... Solution solved! I don't have a favorite Sundown dealer in my area, but I may look into one.Depending on what their prices are would depict on who is my favorite, and going on that, the SSA store sure isn't my favorite Sundown dealer. Hmmm SSA is the #1 online Sundown retailer! And more power to them for it.I try to support them every chance their is a special or deal, but for the most part the people around here can't afford/refuse to pay retail.I'd love to do more work with Sundown, but the prices from the online store aren't feasible with the pockets of most people around where I'm at.
