well you guys should be happy. i found about 14+ mounting points for the wall. ill post pics in a while, im working on it, removing seatbelt mounts in the rear, etc....those are just 2 of the mounting points i will be using. there's 2 really good ones behind the wall...i feel alot better now that i found all these mounting points, the wall will be very secure.

seems like this only does it on these amps, any other brand amps i never really noticed this...but anyways, ill have a speaker connected, and ill have the gains on 0. i gradually put the gains up, and the loudness/volume doesnt move. it gets louder only when i get to like right before 3/4 of the way up....is that normal? does this on both of my 150's and both of my 45's... i just think thats odd, like ill put the gains at 1/2, and its the same as having the gains at 0....

someone told me he had one of the newer hifonics amps, and he had to put the remote knob on the amp, turn it all the way up, and then set the gains, with the knob all the way maxed out. he said it made a pretty noticable differece....wonder if that would work on this RF amp? maybe it wont make me have to put the gains to nearly 3/4 of the way up to get it louder?

this is the only forum that anyone has mentioned about the mids/highs....i expect it from this forum though...

dont start, lmao they dont have any midbass and im not getting into technical airspace for the mids, theyll play just fine, like everyone else that has pro audio mids and just makes an enclosure for them, and theyre just fine. not for you, but for me. the top part will be glassed with the mids/highs angled down at me at like a 22.5 degree angle. the front baffle is 20.5" tall, and the overall diameter of the MT is 18.5" lol. ill have like 1" on top and bottom haha

made my little enclosure thing for the mids/highs. yes i know the bottom is warped. it also serves as bracing for the 2 sides, it really strengthened them up.

how would i go about setting the gains to the highest they can go without clipping? i need a DMM right?

according to Nakamichi, my preouts are 4V.

so im not harming anything having them that high? i put them all the way up for a second, with the HU volume low, and it doesnt distort or clip (at least no audible clipping) but i still dont put them higher than 3/4 my HU is a Nakamichi CD-400, would a line driver help? i noticed another guy on DIYMA.com forums said the same thing about his RF 25TL Punch amps.

didnt do anything today except finish the 2x4 bracing on the back. the back of the box is VERY sturdy, its not going to flex a bit.

dude, i never started...i made this thread planning for no one to argue, yet yall started it up. if u dont like it, just dont stir things up, its that simple.

never said you didnt know anything. you come out of no where an attack my build, when it states that im not finished. i havent even put it in the car yet, how do you know what its going to end up like? my wall was taken out to put airbags and make it lay frame, it will be rebuilt. i didnt finish the last wall, plans where to completely seal it, but i removed it for airbags before that happened. next one will be sealed. the wall in the mini will have a front "beauty panel" and itll come all the way to the side panelsand curve with the panels, so its not going to be 100% sealed, but i dont need it to be in this car. its just a loud daily driver. i dont want to put glass or that expanding foam on the trim and mess it up. like i said, you will see when its done.

actually, i stated no holes in the TRIM or HEADLINER..... never said i wasent going to bolt huge lag bolts through the floor, which im going to do....the wall in my truck had ilke 10+ huge thick bolts just to the floor, and it took 3 grown men and some huge sledge hammers and a whole day to get it out. it didnt BUDGE... ive got it covered man, id appreciate it if you stop throwing wood on the fire and creating arguments. if you dont like the build, dont come in this thread mr 25 posts.

its going to have holes under the seats, last time i checked, when the seats are in, you cant see holes under the seats. thanks for playing!

see, thats the type of stuff thats uncalled for, and you know it. i havent even PUT THE WALL IN YET, how do you guys know how its going to be bolted down? how many other hundreds of people have walls, do theres come flying out? im not gonna argue, im just going to post pics. the BTL should be fine daily. lots of people run 1, or multiple BTLs in a daily system, with thousands of watts. i use MTs, ive never heard a BTL, but im very happy with my MTs.

well its all i can have. itll work. trust me. like i said, its not done. i know what needs to be done to brace a box for this big of a sub, even as stupid as you guys think i am, i know...you may be laughing behind your PC monitor, but i dont care...it will be braced more than enough when im done thursday is the next workday on this BTW.
