the box alone, fine. with those 15" BLs and the sundown 3000d, a little noticeable difference.. when i put 18s in and 2 3000ds, 2 100.2s, 1 100.4, 2-3 batts, 16 6.5s and 16 tweeters and alot of 1/0 wire prally wont move. LOL
-
this wire is the only access to my trunk. the power lock mechanism broke (ok, i broke it) so i use the manual release and i didnt have anything to extend it at the moment, so i used speaker wire, and when i permantly put the floor of this wall in, i forgot to extend it with something other than wire. its also tied on there in a double knot. if it ever comes undone, ill be pulling a steve meade and breaking my rear window with an 18" sub) the sub is only in my 2 screws, so yes, the gasket on the sub fits in the flush mount fine, its a tight fit but it fits.
-
the other half of the beauty panel is cut, but i just gotta router out the hole and round it off. ill bondo the cut in the middle of the subs before its covered in padding THEN vinyl (also will fill all screw holes) ill do that tomorow. i like how its coming out though.

started with this. the trim panel isnt on in this pic yet. foam ftw. sun was out, but the best shot i could get of the underside of the box pics of the trim panel installed later..my sister took the camera.

how does that attach to the window? pics of it from the outside? looks good i like it

PA drivers really dont sound bad at all when you have them crossed over and EQ'ed correctly and dont have 80 of em per door like you do. its all good becuase i guarentee you itll still sound similar.

well since i put in the 2 15" BL's on the sundown 3000d, i have NO windshield flex, a little roof flex which is no biggie, but the worst is the doors...the body panels are so thin and theres just a single support bar inside it, which flexs with it against the body panel. i put Great stuff foam and peel & seal. i know peel and seal isnt real deadener, but ive used it before and itll deaden sound for sure, maybe not as good but itll do the job. well it did hardly nothing. what would solve it is fill the whole door with expanding foam but that isnt an option, becuase i obviously need the windows to go up and down. any ideas? pics of my door panels should be in the wall thread aronud the last page i believe.

didnt do much if anything at all. i think im just gonna have to get some braces welded in there... i still gotta finish the outside of the door though where i only put a few pieces (last of the roll)
-
bought a 3000d thursday, hooked it up and its an absolute beast. cant wait to get my second one, 2 100.2s and 100.4 when funds allow me to lol. one thing though, i did PM you jake, is that the screw for one of the negative speaker inputs, the head on the screw just cracked off. i tightened it down the same as the power/ground/remote, not over doing it, and those were fine. maybe just a crappy made screw

any word on when/if its getting released?? im getting my 2 18" MTs reconed soon...then i just need amps...right now i think im gonna run sundown, but IA is a possibility as well, but no 2ch amps to match........
-
before oh chit will clean up the drip marks tomorow when its dry and safe to touch. chit is so messy and sticky and takes forever to get off your hands thats all. we'll see how this helps that support bar from vibrating against the actual metal of the door itself. all that un supported area around the factory support bar ill through some deadening on tomorow after work.
-
love the amp jake!!!!! messy for now dont have my 18s yet so i made some temporary baffles out of extra wood for some 15s im selling, had to test out the amp so i did this. things broken/braking within the last 24 hours hood scoop clip broke off window motor on drivers door is now clicking randomly but still goes up and down. its gonna fail soon.
-
hood scoop is coming loose and the window clicks when i put it up...something is hitting metal on metal in the door..gotta be the window motor....not good.. lol vids later
