  1. nice!!!! make sure to have install pics man!! and 18's anything is just stupid
  2. why buy mine lol but the 300amp one for 15$ lol half the price! lol! but ya if you wnat to buy mine 30$ shipped! lol!! send me a p/m if you are interested though! see battery isolators are the things whih cost more but are much easier to hook up BUT you will get a voltage drop and the drop will depend on the isolator you get and this will be called out on the spec manual! http://www.adventurerv.net/high-performance-battery-isolator-200-amp-p-4006.html
  3. or this one! a 300amp soleniod! http://www.tractorsupply.com/trailers-towing/trailer-parts/trailer-electrical-wiring/other-trailer-wiring-parts/conduct-tite-battery-cut-off-switch-300-amp-battery-isolator-1042110?cm_mmc=affiliates-_-froogle-_-datafeed-_-1042110
  4. umm for a PAC200 (pac being the best) 30-40$ and on amazon say 44shipped unless you get it when it is on sale for 22$!! and mine 30$ shipped lol!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CEBXRS
  5. yes sir in both diagrams there are 2 batteries in each! that is b/c when i made those pics awhile ago i was using 2 batteries in the rear!
  6. i would get an XS over a kinetik if you can afford it that is! ya you can MIX and Match batteries it isn't recommended and if you do ppl MAY say to get an soleniod inbetween those 2 batteries! but everyone is differnet ppl say get a soleniod b/c with 2 different batteries they will have different stuff like charge rates and AH and all that other stuff like that!
  7. you don't NEED an isolator (soleniod) there are PLENTY of ppl who don't use them! BUT i know from FIRST hand (from my buddy) that when he installed his hc2400 it RAPED and PILAGED his front battery. lol!! so for him but i assumed his battery was old and the hc2400 jsut contributed to his front batteries death! a soleniod will isolate the batteries so when the car is off the stronger battery can't suck the weaker battery dry! lol! but then again (knock on wood) i haven't had an issue yet and i have been running without one for about....2-3years! lol! so each to there own! if you wnat to go through the instal go for it and if you need a 200amp PAC isolator i have one for sale! lol!
  8. and if you need to do the BIG 3 check this video out! http://www.youtube.com/MaxxsonicsUSAInc#p/u
  9. also in that SECOND PIC there is a NEGATIVE wire missing from front to rear batteries! sorry!
  10. hey man adding a SECOND battier is simply!!! first get the BIGGEST gauge wire you can afford/fit and do 2 runs from front battery to the rear battery. 1 run for the pos and 1 run for the neg and make sure you fuse close to both batteries!! and if you have LOTS of room do MORE runs of pos and neg!!! and make sure you do the BIG 3!! here is the big 3 http://www.youtube.com/MaxxsonicsUSAInc#p/u and here is a nice pic on how to install your secondary battery! also in that pic is THE BIG 3 and if you WANT to install an ISOLATOR (soleniod) use this diagram!

  13. nice amp!! i think you might run into a voltage issue with that cap, but then again you don't know till you try and get it all setup right!

ya good point where your rear seats fold down there isn't much room for anything lol. but ya the way i look at it is when you have your setup firing towards the trunk there is a little loading area and the sound has to travel from ALL the way from the back to the front and with in that traveling distance you will loose some db, but firing it forward you have less to travel plus if you SEAL it off you will get no bass cancellation (due to it being deal) as for a quick way to seal it without having to make a angled box jsut simple use that foam stuff in the holes then toss some carpet on it to hide it all! check out what my buddy did! http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=421848 notice the last pic on the first page you can see the foam a bit! and with his single 15(mag v3 last setup on the first page) sealed and firing forward that was his loudest setup todate and that was only getting 1200rms! and i swear he does 146DB like comon 1200rms lool!!

nice setup! and very clean! and i love the video's!! congrats!! also congrats on 3rd! and nice number 136 (i think you siad up there) but i got a question for you! have you considered firing the sub into your cab and then sealing it off? I know it is a lot of work! but from my personal experience i spun my box around and fired it into the cab and i was like OMG it is so much louder now lol! Currently my setup is 1-15inch NS with a SAZ2000 and 2- batcap 2000's (big 3, and stinger voltmeter) check it out! the only thing i haven't done yet is seal it off lol! and plus i still have my trunk which is the part i love about it!!

    How much Ah is needed

So my next install will consist of 2-saz2000 and 2-15inch NS d2 and i was wondering how much AH i should have on my batteries to support my 2 saz2000 straped at 2ohm? i know i read somewhere that if it is at 1ohm just take the fuse size and divide it by 2 and there you go! so for 1 saz2000 at 1ohm i would need a mini of 100ah battery to support it! now i am wondering, i got a good deal on some nsb 90 (90ah) and i can't pass up the deal but they are only 90ah each and i want to get 2 of them. now will this 90ah (180ah total) be enough to support 4krms at 2ohm? thanks for your time Kenneth

    Made another 10" Nightshade

any 10 that looks that awesome would do! lol!!
  21. nice..umm i don't know that amp to well what are the specs? 1000RMS at 1ohm or 2ohm or is that 1000 a watt rating also is this your amp or at least how it looks? http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ele/1410733376.html
  22. umm the odd noice MIGHT be from the CAP...wiat why do you have a cap for a 2channel amp at 4ohm? are you planning on running like 500rms at 1ohm later on down the road? also does your cap have a display on it? umm so they can 12+ power wire to the cap then grounded the CAP on the vehicles chassis right? and yes this is common for a shop to do. as for me and you to do i think it is right. but i have never ran a cap before i jsut run an extra battery which i run a pos and neg wire from front to back and i do a separate ground off of the battery to the chasssis to help out with the BIG 3
