maybe just wire it to a relay(or the ignition wire) so it turns on when you turn your truck on? and put the LED on the EDGE of the plexy take a loook on 12v.com if you need a wiring diagram to wire into the harness.

First of all let me welcome you to the SSA forums! in this forum you will find some of the smartest ppl of our time in caraudio! i jsut takes them some time to chime in some days lol!! o and don't forget to give the noob posting guide a quike read through! doing this you will avoid any admin gettting pissed at you! other then that WELCOME! now onto the issue at hand! mono or multchannel amp! what is your budget and car audio goals? do you plan to upgrade down the road? do you want to impress a hot chick by showing her your xmax of your sub? lol!! i would say go mono channel amp for ANY and ALL subs but if you aer on a tight budget go with a multi channel amP! also what is the ciols on the sub? d2 d1 d4? or single 2, 4,?

well also keep in mind the size of a batcap 2000 being 6 ½ “x 7” x 6” and 35lb each so they aer roughly half the size of the kinetik hc2400 are so they have less of a reserve to charge up and the cells are a lot smaller so faster charge time maybe! other then that like i said they were old and i don't really know how the last guy treated them so who know what is up with them! those were jsut my findings and what i noticed about them! also there float voltage is around 12.1-12.3 while the hc2400 was around 13.1 ish. but i am not a battery guy so my finding are uneducated and very crude. but shizzzon also has some of the best advice i seem to notice! also one more thing to note is teh Ah on a batcap 2000 is only 50ah each and on the kinetik hc2400 around 130 ish/

don't do it! 0.5ohm for a dialy system isn't worth the risk. just get a bigger amp! besides think about all the stress on the amp at 0.5ohm! doulbe the current and fast it will heat up over longer periods of time! so don't do! jsut play it safe!

umm hybrid audio tech (HAT) i was so geared to buy those comps but i was unable to find any in Canada and the ones i did find cost a butt load! so i got super lucky when i ran into a pair of zapco rh and rb 5.25 and 6.5 component speakers!!! (front and rear stage)

yeh I mean if someone told me they were to ban kinetiks, batcap and XS would def. be my next two choices. I don't really have experience with the nsb's, but don't you have to be more careful with how you mount those? I thought they were not agm's. also curious what you liked about the batcaps? what specific power cells did you use that you are comparing? not trying to disprove you, just curious always looking for that edge! first of here is the nsb90 spec sheet http://www.northstarbattery.com/data_sheets/TeleCom/NSB90.pdf and i have never used any nsb batteries but i knwo they are sealed so mounting isn't an issue plus i am pretty sure they are agm that is what ppl use these types of batteries for car audio. i currently use the batcap 2000's (2 of them) and i used to own 2-kinetik hc2400 about 3-4years old! i have never used a BNIB 2400 which is most likey why the batcap 2000's worked out better for me b/c the batcaps were nearly new. the thing i noticed the most about the batcaps' is they like to disspate pretty fast but they also charge up even faster! which is awesome and it doesn't take that long to charge them back up again!! also they hold about 13.4volts at 2krms and the kinetik held about 13.1 and took awhile long to charge up once they were a litlte dead! anything else i might have missed? if so let me know and i will try my best. i am no battery tech i am jsut saying what worked better for me for my application and YES i relieaze the batcaps are made for burping and all but i jsut liked how they preformed for me.

one more quick question what do you plan to be? a daily driver or a spl head!! but kinetik is for sure a great battery and a decent price! i have used kinetik and batcap and believe it or not i prefer batcaps! but then again a lot of ppl use XS and if you have the space go with a C&D battery! hugh batteries 100lb lol 135ah. and even those nsb batteries! llol! there are so many batteries to choose from which one would you choose lol!! how about spin a wheel and get lucky! lol! jk!! but i prefer a batcap! the next batteries i will be using will be 2-nsb90's! or those sprinter 12v500 batteries! so choose wisely and draw on all the knowledge that the ssa member say!!

Actually your wrong, they are made outside the country thats why Jacob has to wait a little longer to ship out amps because US Customs holds them for awhile as they come into the border. if the amps were made here in the usa they wouldnt be nearly as affordable as what they are and yes the 1500D will do 2600 watts under the proper conditions which if I remember right is 16v and wired down to 1/2 ohm with a rise to around 1 ohm Yeah, but that's really just if it's just playing a sine wave. ? isn't that what music really is anyways? a bunch of sine waves lol and burps just a bunch of tones!! but they all follow the general sytle of a sine wave? i guess you could use a squarewave to burp and it would be louder b/c the peak will be there for a long amount of time...!... but i didn't know music came across as anything other then sine waves did i miss something? can someone else shed light on that comment? nice site ppl check it out http://www.bewitched.com/m/music/

and i don't recommend lower voltage on the SAZ line it is jsut they can handle lower voltage better then the sae line! and you siad in your first post that the price difference is around ~100 so is 100 worth 300rms to you? do you need the extra BANG?

guys keep in mind the sae1200 V1 did 1770 rms at 1ohm on 12.6volts now the V2 which is being offered as a pre-sale of like 280 right now. and the v2 is a beefed up V1 so who knows how much it can do! the SAE line is meant (from what i understand) for a constant voltage and above 12volts and is made in china and isn't strappable the SAZ line is meant for low voltage levels and a stupid amount of power and also the ability to do 1/2ohm loads (but no longer covered) and they are built in Korea! so choose wisely for the application you want to use it for! meaning if you are an spl head and you like to do crazy things go with the saz line and if you are a daily kind a guy who likes to go boom boom around the block maybe go with the sae line!!!! other then that i have owned a sae1200 v1 and i just loved it and then i upgraded to the saz2000 and i heart saz 2000's now llol!! but choose any amp from sundown you can't go wrong!
