see on 5k this car shakes like a mother and some times it knocks my front/rear stage rca out of my 100.4 lol but this will be my weekend thing thanks for the idea julian and jacob! but one more if i switch the input to a zune and i get the same result...is this an issue with the amps? or could something else be an issue?
-
o the h/u is a jvc avx77 http://www.crutchfield.com/s_105KDAVX77/JVC-KD-AVX77.html?search=jvc+avx&ssi=0

and if i get a head phone jack to rca i would then plug it into my zune and play a bass line and see if i still get the same result?
-
the cars voltage is 13.8 constant during a bass line some times going to 13.2volt~ but then my bass cuts out then goes back up to 14.4 lol
-
another output? like use a full range signal (from my front output or something? b/c i only have a single rca labelled sub out
-
1. i am pretty sure it is tested at 12.8volts like all the other sundown amps are! 2. no 3. you are welcome lol!

lol i don't think my br in and out have been switched but i know if i unlink the amps i could run into an issue i would think? b/c the terminals are still pluged in together no? plus wouldn't the ohm load change? and i would only be powering 1 coil from the sub(s) ? -

as for cutting plexy best idea i have found is to c-clamp it to a pice of a 2x4 and use a zip wheel on it! but 3/4 thick i don't know that is tuff stuff! maybe take it to a shop and see if you can use there band saw! taht would be the best and fastest way to cut it! -

o wow fancy fans! and expensive! Keep in mind look at the cfm it is 54 an 80mm pc fan is about 40 cfm and a 120mm pc fan is about 80 cfm and 120mm case fans cost about 23$ for a decent one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3478786&CatId=494 with my fan build I just used 4 80mm fans (2-saz2500) and I haven't had a single issue with over heating at all. (knock on wood) lol and my 80mm fans costed about 11 each! (plus they turn on with a pretty blue color just like the SAZ turn on lights same color) -
congrats!
-

CrazyKenKid replied to drapedupDTS's topic in Sundown Audio
Sundown isn't selling out but maybe expanding and growing ever great company starts small then they go big time it is called making money. Sure some company hit it big then ride the fame wave while quality declines but Jacob doesn't sound like a guy to start something and not see it though he isn't a sell out but then again money makes people crazy LOL since the love of money is the root of all evil LOL And if Jacob is expanding his market I say go for it all the power to him it is company after all and he isn't a dummy. And he knows what he is doing -
Hey Chris they do sell just the knob to get one you need to email Jacob about it
-
yes mine are delivered now!!!!
-
now that is the best and strongest h/u install i have seen in awhile!! props!! you do awesome work!
