    Fi Btl 12" Fully Loaded

So if I were to get a 3 cubic foot box, running it daily, what would be the maximum rms wattage I could push without overpowering it or anything.

    Fi Btl 12" Fully Loaded

Hey I was wondering if anyone knows how much RMS wattage I can push to a fully loaded fi btl 12". I'm planning on getting a sundown amp. I will not be using bass boost.

    Fi Q vs. Fi Bl

I want to get one 15" subwoofer but i'm stuck between the Fi Q and the Fi Bl I know that they're two completely different subwoofers: the Q for quality and the Bl for SPL I'm just want to know, overall, which subwoofer everyone would prefer

    Ported Enclosure Tuned Frequency

I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000-1bd amplifier and I am looking for a good quality subwoofer. What would be the best 12" subwoofer for me to get for around 1000 watts rms if I am looking for sound quality with decent spl? I have a bassworx 12" ported subwoofer enclosure that is tuned at 42hz and is about 1.65 cu ft. I want to get an Fi Q 12" subwoofer but the recommended tuned frequency on it is between 28 and 33hz with a recommended minimum volume of 1.75 cu ft. I was wondering how much this would affect my subwoofers performance and its quality?

    Slapping noise?

well from what i've heard, you should set your subsonic filter around 5-10hz below your tuned frequency. But i'd still definitely recommend turning your low pass down. I'm getting an Fi Q 12" and i'm setting my low pass down to 65hz, but that's just me

    Slapping noise?

how for down does your subsonic filter go?

    Slapping noise?

I don't know a lot either and I don't know what the slapping noise is. But i do know that you should turn your sub sonic filter doooowwwn. If you have it at 32hz it means it is getting rid of frequencies below the tuning your box is at, which isn't good. Also i would turn your low pass down to around 80hz, the fi q is meant for low frequencies.

    Ported Enclosure Tuned Frequency

Where would be the best place to purchase a ported box tuned between 28-33hz (preferably 32hz) that has a minimum volume of 1.75 cu ft?

    Ported Enclosure Tuned Frequency

Will the difference in how good it sounds be really noticable? Because i really don't want to have to buy a whole new box But i have a ported box that is tuned to 42hz and has a volume of 1.65 cu in where the recommended tuned frequency and volume for the fi q is 28-33hz and a minimum of 1.75 cu in. How much will this affect its performance?

    12" Q questions

Yeah that should sound really nice. I was in between getting a ported enclosure and a sealed but i went ported. But either way it'll sound great. Just make sure you get a capacitor too though

    12" Q questions

Yeah the amp sounds real nice and it never gets hot so that's good. But i think that the alpine amplifier is better than the hifonics amplifier. I like hifonics too, its just that i think alpine amplifiers are better. That alpine amplifier was actually the amplifier i was going to get before i decided to get the Rockford Fosgate amplifier.

    12" Q questions

Yup no problem. But if you get that system you'll have to let me know how it sounds. I have a Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000-1bd that puts out 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm and i'm getting a 12" Fi Q too so we'll have a similar sounding set-up

    Fi BL Sound Quality

If i were you i wouldn't get pioneer subwoofers. sure they have decent subwoofers, but that is not what they specialize in. i would stay towards brands that specialize in subwoofers rather than home audio and all that. I would recommend the Fi Q 12" subwoofer to you. It isn't quite as loud as the BL, but its sound quality is much much better. It hits the low frequency notes better than any other subwoofer i've ever heard, including the SSA Icon.

    12" Q questions

get the dual 1 ohm. you wire the middle positive and negative together and the outside positive and negative you hook up to the amp. that way it'll have a 2 ohm load
