Best amp for Fi BTL 18" fully loaded??
mbarber25 replied to subs101's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
IMO. get the 2000D i have a 15" BTL being ran off one and it "flexes the whole car" and "is very loud" and it'll be easier on your electrical. you'll probably be able to save money on not getting a HO alt. oh and head over to www.remybattery.com and look for the Deka Intimidator 9A31H. great battery! up there with those pricy ass powermaster batteries. i recommend those batteries all the way. you can get two for the price of one D3100. don't forget about fuse holders, fuses (atleast 250A), ring terminals, battery terminals, and all that jazz. those also add up. you might also want to get a relay for the batteries. so you save wire. head to www.knukonceptz.com for all the wiring and fuses etc. that i named before there's definately for to add to your list than what you have. but good luck! -
haha nice

yea it'll just take a while to get the money for all of the equipment i want so i'll just keep my 15 BTL and then sell it all and get all the new stuff im thinking on two 18 BTL's and either two 3500D's or two 2000D's since i already have one 2000D... but i want more power!! lol maybe if Fi comes out with a new more powerful sub i'd go with that and two 4500D's.. i'd be a little on edge with a 4500 on a BTL. it wouldn't work out for my daily driving i think lol.

exactly what i was thinking.. you should be able to find the fabric somewhere on the internet

thanks man! I appreciate it! but also btw I competed again once I wired down to 1ohm and metered a 142.6 and finished second in a higher class. and yes I've definately wondered if it'd be louder if I turned it around but it'd be such a pain in the ass to do. so I've never bothered. but I've always heard sub back and port back is louder. but it's probably different for each situation. if you look at some ofthe pictures where I wanted to put the amp at first you can see what the hole to the trunk looks like. it's at an angle so the box would have to be as well to seal it off. and plus. I think the box is wider than the hole. but now you have me thinking. maybe I could cut the hole and make it bigger and make a type of mdf tunnel... hmmmm idk I'd have to study up a bit before I'd decide to go through with it. and I'm trying to get a damn suv anyways lol so idk and o checked out your log. very clean as well! nice work

yea I know what you mean man. my area isn't he greatest either. bu I'm actually starting to meet a lot of people who are into this. mainly from New England SPL. but I'm hoping to join up even though I'm a ways from everybody and get it going around here. everyone in my school envys my equipment even though they have no clue on it. but they all want to know what I have. and when it's not a w7 or otherainstream stuff they're mind boggled lol. but I can see myself spreading the word very well for any company I use. especially sundown. so I figured I see how I can be an actual part of the team. and be a part of something
