finally took it to the strip

That's not bad at all for that heavy ass boat... you need to fire your camera person though, they didn't do too bad in the second video but they couldn't keep on target in the first one for anything.... lol..... What all did you do with the engine in it?

Help me with my setup.. mids/highs/highs amp

It looks like it has the controls you're needing to me... I can't download the manual, so I can't speak for just much adjustment it has, but from what I see it looks pretty decent. Nevermind, finally figured out where they hide them. From what I'm reading the CD-7100 would be a fine choice of HU for the controls you're needing. Found the manual here.

so i got my bl in but it sounds messed up...

Wow, that's some problems. I wonder where you got the enclosure, buy it, build it yourself? Are you certain it doesn't have any air leaks? Air leaks ruin the tuning and the ability of the enclosure to do it's job. How did you set the SSF? It sounds like you have more than one problem going on, but it's going to take some troubleshooting to find them. I wouldn't play the system any more until you have it figured out either, playing the sub to the point it bottoms out, or even gets close to doing so is going to ruin it. I'm sure they can get you a new sticker for the dustcap.

Help me with my setup.. mids/highs/highs amp

Those would be overboard for this setup. It's not going to sound "good" regardless, so he just needs to keep things from breaking. Oh believe me I know, but he's already stated that he just wants to hear answers about what he wants to hear and not listen to any good recommendations to what he should be doing, so I gave him an answer. I know I may sound like a dick to some in that statement, but it's true, we're all really here trying to help. it didn't help, not to be rude.. but it didn't answer what I was asking either. I wanted advice on how i could make it work.. not other options which is about all i've gotten. It sounded dickish to me.. but that's only if it mattered, it adds nothing to the thread so.. it doesn't. If what I answered to you in post #7 isn't of any help, then I'm not sure how better to help you. The FMOD's are designed to be used when no crossover is available at all or for some reason unable to be used. They're by no means supposed to be used to replace good crossovers in an active setup. If the Sundown 4 channel proto has the good crossovers in it, it will be basic, but do what you need them to do. Of course with the right HU or external crossover it can help much more with good crossover and EQ adjustments. I understand that your only wanting it to get loud, but don't you at least want it to sound decent too? Youtube videos do NOTHING to tell anyone how good or bad a stereo sounds, which is why a lot of people on here despise what Youtube videos have done to the car audio hobby. I also appreciate your candor in your response as well. We're all adults here and it's good to see adult type responses to things we don't agree with. +1 for that sir...

    Subs firing into cabin help!

You should really try to seal the enclosure to the opening. You could take some old clothes and stuff them tightly in around the box from the trunk side for temporary testing and see how that helps. If it helps then work on making a permanent seal. It can cause a lot of cancellations turning the subs around and not sealing it.

Help me with my setup.. mids/highs/highs amp

If the 75x4 is a sundown amp, find out if it has the same crossover controls the 100.4 does. If it's built like the 100.4 then it can handle the active setup you're striving to go with. If it doesn't then you'll need either a HU with at least crossover controls built in or an external crossover. Better than any of those options would be a processor like the MS8 or Audiocontrol DQX or the DQXS. There's others but I can't remember them right now, lol.

How to make two amps compatible?

No need, the plate amp has LPF filter's built in, just connect an RCA cable and go.

How to make two amps compatible?

Yeah, nothing special just a Y splitter and another RCA cable. I Don't think you need 4 super tweeters either IMO.

Why not list the Q, especially since he mentioned SQ? I like Aaron's suggestion on the SSD's as well.

    Need Advice

I completely agree. No Im not stuck on 15's. What would be a good pair of 12" subs that could handle alot of power? Define A LOT of power. There's a ton of subs out there that are rated to handle lots of power, you need to choose a sub based on your goals for the system, period. What's wrong with the American Bass 15's you have now, other than the potential box size problem? Can they be ran sealed? Are you trying for numbers to compete? There's so much more to the sub system than the sub that's chosen alone, 90% of the end result is decided by it's installation, which includes the design and implementation of all the components involved and their interaction with the vehicle. You need to figure out where you're really going with it first, then choose your equipment accordingly. Personally, if I were you I'd be looking at two 12's such as BTL's, ZCON's, Nightshades, IA Death Rows, DC Level 4 XL's or Level 5's or another sub that's rated to handle absurb amounts of power. Then you know that fitting the enclosure will be much easier, easier to redesign and change in the future when your tastes or goals change and able to handle the SAZ-3500 or bigger amp. Just my .02
