    1 RL-P 12

I have a set of sealed RL-p 12"s in my single cab silverado. I built my box on the large side. I went for 1.5 cubes per driver net. Mike informed me that I would sacrafice some SQ with a box that large, but IMHO If I lost any SQ I cant tell. I did enjoy the added output I got with the larger box also. But really you cant go wrong with these subs in a box about 1.25 cubes, great mix of SQ and great output from a sealed enclosure.

    rlp spl meter

2 RL-p 12s off of 1200 watts in a sealed box, in a single cab truck...USACi Style mic in the kick 141.0 at 41 Hz.

Got the Rl-ps Metered This past weekend

my box is 1.6 cubes net per driver...so 3.2 total net or roughly 3.4 total no room for me
  8. Well I decided to enter a double point USACi...So I entered in the Stock 0-300. So I go through on my first pass and pull a 139.6 on a sweep, I peaked at 40hz. On my second pass I pulled off a 141.0 off of! Not bad for 2 sealed Rl-ps 1200 watts. ended up taking 3rd place. But the guys that beat me were using cadence cheater amps and 2 15s in large ported enclosures... But anyways here were the results from my class 1st-141.7 2nd-141.5 3rd-141.0 (me) 4th and down were like 138 and lower but a local competitor (matt sibley) gave me some tips and hopefully Ill get some decent sized gains out of them...next comp im shooting for 142. Anyways thanks Mike For making a Great Sub.

I know I have a car audio addiction when......

Ive got a few .....You walk through parking lots wondering what kind of system people have .....You go home from college just to build a speakerbox .....You "scan" through Various caraudio retail websites looking for "good Deals" .....You had a stereo system in your car before you had a drivers licence (my personal Favorite) .....You drive with the windows down in the dead of winter just to improve your bass response .....You ask for an High Output Alternator for your birthday .....You go to the local audio shops just to quiz the employees

Easily the loudest setup Ive heard. And the sq was lacking for me (I love my Rl-ps). I was in the grocery store and walking out and heard the truck, so I walked up to the guy and he opened the rear hatch and low and behold 2 MT 15's. Makes me want to go out and buy a 300 dollar mini van and build a wall.
