    Help

I believe I can do 2 ported. I used the box creator on REAudio.com. I am not sure how to figure out the L port size. The Specs I have so far are: Box Height: 15.5 Box Width: 24 Box top Depth: 6 Box bottom Depth: 6 Square port length 1: 1 Square port length 2: 1 Wood thinkness: .50=1/2 It says that the volume is 0.901 Not entirely sure If I did it correctly..says the tuned frequency is 63.841 etc. I think it is suppose to configured at 33.

One more thing. This is my first time using a mono amplifier. Does it work like 1600 @ 1 ohm for both subs or does it split it @ 800 a piece.

Well I want more boom boom really. I am unsure as to which would actually hit harder.

    Help

Just got 2 10" SSD subs and I have a Hi Fonics Bxi1610D. I had both in my single cab Dodge truck, a friend of mine said that I could take one out and build a ported box for one and make it sound better that the 2 sealed. My question is, is that true and could I still use the same amp with only 1 sub? It would have to be either 1600 watts @ 1 ohm or 550 watts @ 4 ohms I believe since the sub is a dual 2. Thanks for the help in advance
  5. Sup guys, first time poster. I have a 2003 dodge dakota regular cab. I have 2 SSD 10" that I have in 2 sealed boxes behind the seat. I am looking to take one out and put 1 ported box for only one sub in. I have the box dimensions that I want just can't figure out where to put the port or how big it needs to be. I have a HiFonics 1600 mono That I am going to be wiring to the sub at 1 Ohm. The box dimension I have came up with will give me 1.25 cubic feet @33Hz. Height = 15 inches Width = 24 inches Depth = 6 inches Please help with port size and location
