So I have to run a postive and negative wire from the front stock battery to the two rear batteries. Then wire them in parellel then run the power wore from I've of the rear batteries to the amp..correct? -
Im starting my build in about a week or so and i narrowed my design down to two options. The first option is to have the sub up firing at the rear deck with a kerfed port(s) firing back or sub up firing at the trunk lid with a kerfed port(s) firing into the cabin. after doing a lot of searching i see a lot that like the sub up port back. The reason i chose these two designs is because i cant do both sub and port back or sub back and port to the side. Which option would yield better results? I also its vehicle dependent but my box will have to be build inside the trunk so moving it around is pretty much out the question
-
Thats not an option its going to be sub ip port back or sub back port to the side

I was going to order my d3100 for my saz3500 tomorrow but i see a lot of good talk about the deka 9a31 and the 8a31. Will i come out better by getting two of the dekas over one d3100?
-
Lol. What about subs back and ports to the side
-
i cant because the seats dont fold down
-
sorry to bring back such an old thread but if i was to do the 2x2's as stated above will i have to subtract that from the total amount or airspace?

When building a box inside the trunk whats the best way to start? im getting a box pre designed with all the cuts i just need to assemble the box inside the trunk

WELL NOT REALLY! I just got my new toys in the mail and these sub are bigger than what i expected now all i have to do now is come up with a design...thanks Jacob Saz-3500D Sundown Z v.2 15's THANKS AGAIN JACOB! B.Ellis

Its going in my 04 impala. I plan on doing a build log when I get my design figured out. Since I can't do sub and port I was planning on doing sub up port back or subs back with two 8" aeros blowing through the rear deck. The only thing I don't like about the design with the aeros is that I will have to bend them in a "L" shape to fit
-
im not that good with google sketchup, but i was wondering which design would be better for a trunk setup porting through the rear deck? 33d 17h 35w with three 6" aero ports two sundown z 15's saz-3500d
-
I thought it didn't matter for daily but for comps its a different story
-
I have some final questions for my box build. I wanted to use two 8" aero ports that i was going to run through the rear deck to the box. Both ports will have to be 32 inches long which is two long. If i switch to two 6" will that be enough port area for two z 15's? I need to switch to a smaller diameter ports so they will be shorter. What are the pros/cons of doing this?
-
Will it hurt if I put an elbow on the aero ports to get the full length

Whats a good tuning freq. for this sub? I listen to 90% rap. for some reason i was stuck on tuning at 30-32 hz
-
what do you mean by what type of rap? so is lower tuning better or should i tune higher

Im having some minor issues with my two Z 15's and i was wondering if i upgrade to a couple of btl 15's what will i gain/lose wit output and sound quality? Is it worth the extra $80?
