question about crossover
Lschevy replied to Lschevy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
certain songs have sloppy bass, idk if its a setting that could need adjusting or it could be the way the song is. i might just install it since i have it and play with it and if it take away from the system i'll just uninstall it. -

No there's nothing wrong with my system i was cleaning out my garage and i ran across it. I asked the neighborhood music man and he told me if i was to hook it up it will be a noticeable difference in sound. i think my headunit has a built in crossover. LPF is the only setting i see. -
Will the nightshades work with the saz-3500 at .5 ohm
-
I've impressed a lot of people and turned a lot of heads with my z v2's so I can imagine how the nightshades are. Will the z v.3' a be a big improvement over the v'2's?

I'm about to upgrade my subwoofer wire to 8 ga. from 14 ga. I think I know its real real small, but anyway when upgrading so I need to run the 8 ga. to connect the voicecoils also? I know I have to run the wire from the subs to amp but not sure about the voicecoils

When i was out riding today bumpin, i have my volume 1/4 the way up and my subs stop playing. Last time i had this problem the power wire came out of the amplifier but not this time, all the connections was still in tact and the amp was still on. I thought it was the fuses but if a fuse was blown the amp power light will not be on.....what you guys think? i praying the subs are not blown because the volume wasnt all the way up

how to check the subs with a dmm

Its not worth it to ship them heavy ass all the way back to N.C. Just for some glue. I can do that myself. As long as the subs still play I'm good
