amps that do over rated power
Lschevy replied to Lschevy's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Yeah right I had a t3000 a while back and the birth sheet read 4100 watts -
Why does a lot of people prefer subwoofers that is made in the US over others? And what are some good US made subs?
-
I know a lot of people dont like vs threads but i couldnt help it But two subs are my favorite from the videos and reviews. Space is not an option since i will be taking my back seats out. I listen to mostly rap andi want to give the pair 3-3500 watts. which of the two will get louder and sound best? and what will be a good amp to feed them? my budget for the amp is $1900 i i know i have to upgrade my electrical.
-
I know it's hard to say which would be louder without actually hearing both. But I thought since a lot of people like fi and probably heard most of the subs and now sundown is a fan favorite, I was hoping for someone that had experience with both or heard them both As for the power I meant 3-3500 watts will be on each not both of them (typo)

what are some good ground pounder subs? i have no plans in competing i just want something that have deep bass that can go low and sound good in the process... i have 8.3 cubes where the rear seats would be in my truck. i dont want to run no more than 5500 watts. Something that love low tuning would be great and my budget is $1200 max for just subs. the size of the subs really dont matter all that much. Im just trying to get different ideas on whats out there..I will be getting a box design from ram designs as soon as i make my mind up on subs

before sub and port displacement

I know people always say cone area is king but which setup will have the potential to be louder in a truck. Four sa 10's ported on 3500 watts or two zv.4 12's in a fourth order with about 3500 watts
-
im asking which setup will be more efficient if all the subs are given their rated rms with the proper electrical and optimum required space . im starting to look into fourth orders because i hear a lot of people saying that their more efficient than the traditional ported enclosure.
-
I been going back and fourth for the past few weeks about doing a enclosure to go under the rear seat in my truck. I entered my measurements in the enclosure calculator on the12volt. and i came up with 4.7 cubic ft but it have the transmission hump thats right in the center of the floor and i dont know how to subtract that from the total that i got from the enclosure calculator....do you guys think and enclosure like this would work with a external port? Im still looking around for some good 10's that would work with 1 cubic ft or less

what's the best direction to face subs with a enclosure that's going under the rear seat?

I really was trying to avoid dual alternators cause I don't think my car is capable (04 impala) what's the most power I can't run with a 260 amp alt? -

absolutely. I'm currently running a saz3500 and I want to add another or go a different route bit with the same brand -
I been going back and forth about taking my rear seats out my crew cab silverado. The idea that i have if i remove the seats completely, is to build a enclosure/amp rack that rear passengers can still sit on and still be comfortable. I was thinking about covering both in some type foam and vinyl...have this been done before and would it work?
-
I recently wanted to have a under the seat build for my truck, but now I've come up with the decision to go a little bit bigger with the enclosure. I don't want to take my seats completely out. my plan is to flip my seats up and build a box that's I can take out if I needed to use my rear seat. 15' s are out the question cause the enclosure will be to large to move around, so my options are multiple 10' s or 12' s. I have my saz-3500 but I plan on selling it and get a saz-4500 or two crescendo bc2000's I want to keep the price of the subs under $1000. I listen to 90% rap and I will not be competing. the source I have to work with is W-50 D-16 H-17.5

I have a saz3500 that i bought with my z v2 15's and i was wondering whats the difference in the models
-
correct

I found me box builder for my truck. the enclosure would be a little over 2.4 cubic ft. net so my options are quad 8's in a custom enclosure or two 10's in a fox acoustics enclosure. if I go with the quad 8's what's a good option to go with under $140 per sub our $220 with the dual 10's? I want something thats sound good but somewhat loud at the same time
-
the sa's with a slight advantage
-
total cubic ft?
-
i think i did it right...i entered both driver and put the box tuning freq. to 32 the two dc lvl 4 are in red and the four sa8's are green
-
how can i do that?
