System playing at half of its potential?..

bass vibrations made the truck scared and it turned your gains down by itself. Duh. going for 153.X now? -
Good read makes me want to learn more about this stuff.

now i would have to respectfully disagree there. This is a DC engineering official online board, right? (I'm honestly not sure) And this is a DC engineering customer service "issue". Granted i think the OP is going the total wrong way about this, but I completely understand his frustration. Whether its DC, the OP, or simply communication errors to blame, i can easily see how the OP would be frustrated. I'm glad threads like this exist. To me, they show one of two things. 1) Negative customer service for a company that is usuallly boasted by the members 2) Positive customer service for the company dealing with people who come into a situation with this attitude to have it being the consumers fault and not the company. Just my opinon i can agree with you, but how much relevant information is going on here? within the first two or three posts this should have been resolved. he stated he has had trouble contacting them, they replied and gave him a time to call them back, and they tried calling him multiple times. It's lack of communication on both sides as far as i can see. This isn't a very reputable way to get ahold of a company. Obviously they aren't on here much. But that should change for reasons like this if they are keeping a forum here. ll watch for a reply from someone at DC and proof on waiting for a year and a half for a response. That's just ridiculous. What have you been doing the time between then and now?

she looks so enthused to do that for you haha anyone take bets on how long that back window will last? -
Im not in here thinking I'm their most important/only customer. All I'm asking for is a damn phone call....after having over 2,000 of my money for a year and a half.... There is no reason to be arguing on here. There is no real reason this thread should have started. You're both asking for a phone call, both say they haven't received/missed the calls. Have you checked the numbers? make sure each has the correct one? I understand your frustration, but i don't understand what you thought to gain with this topic. Rob has given his reply, did you try doing what he asked?

wiring mulitiple batteries?
emh9009 replied to pitbull239's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
You can use the amp just keep the gains down and buy a voltmeter to watch the voltage on your amp, nobody says you have to use every watt on that amp when you hook it up. i would put the sundown in, no questions asked. you could be able to turn the gain more than 1/8th, just watch what your voltage is doing. if it's dipping low turn it down. if it's not as loud as you want and your voltage is fine turn it up (only to an extent. dont go crazy.) you should know how to set the gain. -
That may start tomorrow, I also have an alternator to install. I just hope I don't have any issues with the alternator, it's from DB electrical, 200 amp. I've heard some bad things on this forum about them, but i bought it before I knew there could be potential issues. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Somebody, somewhere will find something to complain about on any company. Nobody is perfect, it all comes down to who you're trusting on these issues. So there is a chance you will get a good product! I'm not supporting the company or know much about them/their issues you've seen, i'm just wishing you the best on your install and new gear. Get to it!

That works just as well, if not better. you know it's a good ground, no chances of getting a bad one in the rear of the vehicle. Remember about the big 3!

Your roof hates you

That makes sense. Have you thought to just ground the amps to the frame? save you some money on the wiring, and some work. I believe either will work, personally i would go this route.

you're coming out with all sorts of goodies! i would be more interested in this before i bought a flare, if that matters

Very nice pods. Good luck on the vinyl, it doesn't "look" too hard. The exterior looks super nice. rugged, yet a bit of flash. When you finish with the LOUD, it will make it the ultimate truck to be seen in -
i would love to go to a comp. even if it is like that. i have to drive for days to get anywhere near one.. pics. would be sweet! videos??
