Paul just called, we will be getting the false floor secured to the car on sunday. Plan to take some tubular steel and cut them to length, weld them to some steel plates to bolt to the floor. Should work much better than dowels made in 10 min.! I wanted to make a skeletal base out of 2X4s, but he said this will be easier and just as, if not stronger, than the wood. Ill take his word for it. After that I'll get a beauty pannel cut then i can really start getting some work done!

No idea why this video took hours to upload to youtube. Here it is though! No editing, just the raw first chance published product.

Sub placement move again? Those motors look killer. Congrats on the sponsor, and GL at the comps!

Not surprising considering you compete with the geo, and nothing needs to be deadened behind a wall, and your doors and dash probably flex so much it's worthless to try and combat Simple deadening materials wont do much of anything in that car, it needs steel bars and diamond windows as reinforcement!

Nice video, my speakers hated me lol had to turn that bish down. How did you have that one speaker wired to the amp? Maybe it's a pro audio thing, but why do you rate them at 1/200 watts when you say they're meant to be ran 4/8 each channel giving them very minimal power? They're that efficient?

Give Don an email and give him your specific measurements on the areas you want to deaden. He won't charge you too much. I felt like he didn't have me buy enough, so i talked him into letting me buy more than what he recommended. Now i have extra haha

Come on don't be a pansy. It's only a car not brain surgery, nobody dies if you slip a little. Sorry watts09, but that's damn funny! Ya'll are just haters Just curious, why put gauges in? Just added security? -

Balls, I had a brain fart. I bought the fuse holders here. It is easy to get them confused, one is Impulse Electronics the other is Impulse USA. I have bought from both companies numerous times and I definitely will buy from them again. you said balls That works as well! thanks for saving me a couple dollars, if shipping is worth it. These don't come with fuses?

I heard that!!!!!!! Should start wiring stuff up tomorrow. Can someone hook me up with a link to the best big 3 "how-to"? I know google helps ( ), but I know that somebody has one that is easiest to follow. I plan to make a thread explaining a how - to on this, the next car i do (with pics.) just hope someone doesn't get to it before me! Just take a string and run it along a line that you want your wire to go from the alt. + terminal to the battery + terminal, measure that and cut the wire to that length, terminal on both ends connect! Do the same for your engine to chassis ground, and battery to chassis ground. Do a couple battery to chassis grounds to be on the safe sides. Guess you can't ever have too many grounds Hope that helps. I just got a 1200 as well. I agree with it being heavy, but then again i've never held a 3100

Cant find the inline holders, like in your second picture. link?

No hijack, all usefull info, as far as im concerned where this thread went to I haven't found their fuse holders. ill go check them out now. i need a couple.
